Will be considered for Reservation of OBC or Not if Annual Income Exceeds 2 lakh per annum?
My nephew has given CET karntaka exam and result is awaited between May 20-25th..Though he belongs to Reservation category -OBC (Category -2A) and same is provided in CET form, Where he has duly filed in CET form but Annual Income provided in the CET form is not correct by mistake with one zero value more....where he will exceed the Annual limit provided for OBC --2 Lac....I just wanted to know whether he will be considered for Reservation of OBC or Not since he claims OBC but annual income excceded 2 Lakh....Please let us know us and appricate to know whether we can approach the concerned people.

well i guess you should talk to the concerned officials about this matter as soon as its possible since it is a mistake the procedure for correction is going to be complicated if you want your child to be considerd as obc.and your child will be considerd obc

the OBC certificate is only valid for those whose fathers income is less then 1 lakhs and they are considered as non -creamy layer ok all the best |

Dear,
The OBC candidates are always eligible for reservation in any field and further whose income exceeds 4.5 lakhs are not considered as they come in creamy layer...... So in all you are eligible for reservation everywhere |

My name is Ahmed Khan and my dads Annual income is less than 4.5 la. but the official here in AP are saying am not eligible for OBC because am a 'Pathan' - KHAN. So just wanted n to know is it right if so, then what is the solution for it... |

Dear friend,What you said is correct and if your salary is more than 2 lakh p.a, then you are not under the reservation quota of OBC. It is called as creamy layer of OBC. On the other hand, if you are less than the above mentioned income, then you will be categorized under the non-creamy layer, which have its own concessions in the central jobs and its reservations.

In Karnataka the income limit for getting Fee concession for Schools & Colleges is Rs. 11,000/- since 20 years. is it necesary to revise? if yes what should be thw limit?

i am a central govt.class III .employee working at maharastra drawing salary more than 4.5 lacs including all allowance ,and my wife is house wife. Iam native of kerala,and my children born at kerala and brought up at maharastra.can i getnon creamy layer certificate?

My annual income is 350000. I belong to Billava community in Dakshina kannada district of Karnataka. Is my daughter eligible under OBC quota in CET Karnataka.

MY CASTE IS INCLUDED IN OBC CATEGORY IN JUNE 2008.HOWEVER ,IN MY SCHOOL LEAVING CERTIFICATE MY CASTE NAME IS NOT WRITTEN AS PER THE NOTIFICATION ISSUED IN 2008 BY GOVT.OF MAHARASHTRA. MY FATHERS GROSS SALARY INCOME IS MORE THAN 800000/PER YEAR.WHAT SHOULD I WRITE IN COLLEGE/OTHER ADMISSIONS FORM MY CASTE? WHETHER I AM ELIGIBLE FOR OBC ADMISSION BENEFITS ?

sir
amexserviceman and presently working as sub inspector in karn ataka state. feb 2010 i was applied for gazetted post in exserviceman quota and selected as ac state account department.during caste and income validity certificate verificstion bcm officer including my exserviceman pension my parents income in my gross income. therefore my income limits exceeding 2 lakhs limits. due thismy validity certificate will rejected by dc. request info me both exempted or not with if exempted under which go/sc/hc judgement |

Now the limit has increased to 4.5 lakhs. You need to again apply for your caste certificate and get it made by right authority. Then you would be considered as OBC non creamy. all the best |
