Re: What are the options available for higher studies after completion of BSc Physics?

Sir, I completed my BSc Physics in 2015 with 63%. Afterwards I didn't opt for my PG. In fact my friends misguided me. They told me to join in any professional course. Then I selected Indian and Foreign Accounting diploma course. I could complete that with good grade. And presently I've been working for a financing company as a field assistant for collecting money from our customers. Now I realize that I could get a better job anyway. Now I want a right direction from you sir.. please kindly help me. It's my humble request.

Re: What are the options available for higher studies after completion of BSc Physics?

you are really interested in your subject, then you should do higher studies i.e do the master's degree or M.Sc(Physics).

After that you can do some research works with some specific field of physics like astro physics or space physics, particle physics etc.

To get admission in the top institutes like IITs or NITs ,you have to crack the entrance exam JAM

Re: What are the options available for higher studies after completion of BSc Physics?

dear candidate

you had done BSC in physics field

if you are passionate about teaching the you can do MSC in physics and can handle the classes up to degree or even masters students..

or you want to do lectureship then you need to crack the CSIR OR ICMR exam

or

you are willing to do research then you had to crack the CSIR OR ICMR OR JNTU OR JNU OR GATE exam

if you cleared the exam, you will be given the passed certificate then across India you can continue your ph.d as JRF i.e junior research fellowship'

or

SIMPLY after degree you can join in labs...

in degree you might be having other 2 subjects along with physics right..then you can also go with that subjects...

it depents on your choice of field you opt and interest..

ou must have subject knowledge then company will need you and pay you back..

no field is small no job is less..every field has its own value..got it

understood

good luck

thank you

Its better you continue in the same stream. Go ahead with M.Sc(in India or European countries) or MS(abroad like USA etc).

You will definitely have good future.

If you want to pursue M.Sc in India then write exams like GATE and IIT-JAM etc.
Apart from this also prepare for state post graduation admission tests.

If you want to pursue MS in USA then appear for Subjective GRE(Physics) and also for TOEFL/IELTS. This is the right time to start up with your planning ang processing things.

All the Best!
