Re: Entrance procedure into the IISc for Ph.D sir, i completed my M.Sc biotechnology in SVIMS university now am having DST-INSPIRE fellpwsip from 8th july2014 to 8th july 2015 so am requesting you to tell me is there entrance exam is complsory or not and suggest me how can i approch proffesors , am very much intrested to contineu my research work. |

Re: Entrance procedure into the IISc for Ph.D Respected sir, I am an INSPIRE SCHOLAR( registration number 1061/2009) and completed B.Sc. with mathematics and physics in the year 2012 with 60.2% of marks from C.S.J.M. UNIVERSITY,KANPUR. I wanna get admission at IISC for the year 2013 in M.Sc. P.hd. course for mathematics with the preference of INSPIRE SCHOLARSHIP. So please suggest me am i able for this course? |

I have been unable to submit application, what should I do now ? http://admissions.iisc.ernet.in/ says : Due to some technical problem, the access will be restored shortly. Re: Entrance procedure into the IISc for Ph.D The minimum educational qualification required to join the Phd. programme(biotechemistry) in Indian Institute of Science (IISc) is a Master’s degree with second class for general candidate and pass class for SC/ST,in any of the following subject: Biochemistry, Microbiology, Biotechnology, Chemistry, Botany, Zoology or any branch of Biological Sciences (with Chemistry as subsidiary at the B Sc level) or M Pharm or M V Sc or M Sc (Agriculture) or MBBS orM Tech or equivalent degree in Biotechnology. The iisc entrance for ph.d is only for the biochemistry but you also join into this course when you got the rank in iisc entrance exam .The syllabus for the entrance test is the biochemistry basics from molecular level to the all metabolisms in the organisms including animals and plants .And the genetic's questions also will be given to you in the test. |
