Re: How to prepare for IIT-JEE along with board exams?

You cannot revise the entire syllabus of IIT JEE and thus you must by the end of your board exams have decided what your strong and weak subjects are and focus more on your strong subjects in that period of 10 days.
Everyday after school or coaching class you must study seperately for both the board exams as well as your entrance exam.
6 hours for IIT JEE and 2 hours for board exams considering that you already study for 6 hours in your coaching class strictly for IIT JEE.

Re: How to prepare for IIT-JEE along with board exams?

The best way to prepare for JEE both Main & Advanced is to begin just after the 12th exams beginning with basics and as you move on solving questions from practice books and then taking timed mock tests. I have found really good series of JEE books for main & advanced by Wiley Maestro and they have useful resources on their website as well.

Re: How to prepare for IIT-JEE along with board exams?

Dear friend,

To get 95% marks in board exams and also to crack the
JEE examination which is thought of as one of the toughest
examinations conducted all over the world, you have to clear
all the basic concepts first and also have to increase your speed
of solving problems with accuracy.

I hope if you have the thought of getting 95% marks you might
have studied hard over the year. So, now this is no the time to
be nervous about the things and exams as well. Just keep revising
things and you will surely hit the bulls eye.

Regarding the metallurgy branch, the minimum rank you must have to
achieve is AIR 3000. But even if you score in top 10 and you want
to study metallurgy , nobody will restrict you that you are not
eligible for selecting the stream.

Different colleges accept the ranks according to the seats available in their colleges.so dont think about the rank,if you are well prepared then definitely get a good rank.

Board exams must given priority than IIT exams because IIT exam can be given again but if you did not get 60%marks then u will no longer eligible for IIT.
In addition to NCERT books you should use some standard books such as H.C.V. AND IRODOV AND S.L.LOANI AND PRADIP FUNDAMENTALS OF CHEMISTRY for competitive exams such as IIT and AIEEE..

Re: How to prepare for IIT-JEE along with board exams?

Concentrate on this -
Total paper of IIT-JEE, AIEEE and other exams are based on NCERT Books.
None of question is not out of 11th and 12th standard Books.
So firstly concentrate on CBSE issued NCERT books.
Of course For clearing doubts and concepts you have to buy another book away from NCERT..
So on the basis my companion HC verma and ARIHANT books are very good to study to understand concepts easily..
OR you can go for FITJEE Notes they are difficult to read but seriously they are very helpful to you..
Some easy and most important chapters are-
Optics is the unit which is simple to learn and In IIT exam there are lots of question from Optics.
Electronics devices
Waves
Communication system
Maths-
Trigonometry
Matrix and determent
Probability
In chemistry all inorganic and Organic part are most important....
I think it will helpful to you..

Re: How to prepare for IIT-JEE along with board exams?

For board exam, you should study your text books seriously. After completing your text books you should practice previous year question papers regularly.
For IIT-JEE exam you can follow some competitive books like Arihant, Pradip, Dinesh etc.
You can take coaching from the best coaching institutes in India. My opinion is that FITJEE will bethe best coaching institutes for IIT-JEE. Other coaching institutes for IIT-JEE is Narayana, Aakash, Pathfinder,Nice.

Re: How to prepare for IIT-JEE along with board exams?

The strategy for a person who is appearing for the JEE examination which is known for its toughness

The rank will be not depend upon How many hours you spent in preparation

It depends on how many hours you perfectly utilized

Before 4 months of the exam

preparing for JEE for 5 hours with full of concentration brings a very good rank

some of the points you must remember while preparing for the exam are

you must be highly concentrated towards your goal

you should know all the patter and examination procedure of the exam

Make smart plans and follow accordingly

You must be hardworker for the whole six months

keep all attractions away from you

stick to your preparation

Make the best time in your preparation for your recreation and relaxation ..

practice with some of the mock test to know the competition of the exam

this is all about the exam preparation attitude a candidate must have

You should not think about your branch selection now itself because it may disturb your preparation so concentrate more on your preparation.

Re: How to prepare for IIT-JEE along with board exams?

hey,
At this time you have 2 options and you can choose any one of those.

First Option:
If you really think you can crack IIT test, then you need to stop worrying about the boards and completely concentrate IIT.
Because if you are able to understand IIT level, you can easily prepare for the boards just a month before the boards.

Second Option:
If you think iit is way beyond your reach, then you should forget about IIT and prepare for the boards. Because it is better to do one thing properly than doing two things improperly.

But one thing that you must keep in mind that whichever option you take, you must do the NCERT books of all physics, chemistry and mathematics very carefully.
Because it contains the basics and if basics are not clear, you can understand nothing.

Choose wisely and Best of luck
I hope this message helps you.

hi friend
It is just the right time to give your 100%
utilise maximum of your time in studies
focus more on competative exams since it is the entrance exams which decides your college and branch
you must get within 6000 rank in order to get metallurgy but this ranking limit change from year to year

Never pressurized your self thinking to get 95% in boards and have to crack IIT JEE too.

If you put strain to your mind then you will definitely be in Trouble Try to calm down your mind,

Just do whatever you want to do...because it will satisfy your mind and heart too.

For preparing board Exams, you must be aware of Hard work if you are doing then you will definitely be recognized, and you will definitely get 95%.

Only put 2hrs a day for IIT JEE preparations because in this 2 hrs try to study uncovered portions from 11th class , Tricks , tactics and Revisions ....... Don't waste each and every moment of this 2 hrs..

You can do it..Just keep my words you will definitely be winner one day..
