Therefore you are eligible for the exam. One more important thing to consider is that if you have done BHM from some private institution then carefully check that whether the institution is approved by some Govt. of India. |

Is this degree eligible for IAS exams. PLEASE HELP. I am not able to gather accurate information anywhere. |

If that is a diploma course there is no chance for you for attempting in Civil Services The basic eligibilty criteria for Civil Services Examination.. -> you should have a valid recoginzed indian university degree -> your age should be in between 21 and 30 this is the basic eligibility criteria for appearing in civil service examination. if you want to know more about this examination then go through the below attached official link www.upsc.gov.in best wishes ~aditya~ |

If you go for IAS you can destroy someones future who are already in the line of IAS because there are few seats of IAS but there are much seats for Hotel Manager.But decision is yours i was only suggesting you. with best wishes!!!! |

Yes you are eligible for IAS ........ for IAS exam as any Graduate from a recognised university or a college in India is the minimum eligibility criteria for IPS. He/She should be 21years to 30 yrs of age at the time of appearing in the UPSC held Civil Services Examination. UPSC conduct CIVILSERVICE exam for top service like IAS,IPS,IFS and for other government jobs.Even this onwards the pattern of exam also changed as it doesnot have any special subject and the paper will be same for all the candidates. |

Education wise speaking you are eligible for IAS, assuming that you have done it form some recognized university.... minimum eligibility is GRADUATION... Now if you also fulfill other criteria' like AGE ( you must be between 21 to 30 years, for general candidates.. reservation candidates have some relaxations) you can appear for Civil Services exam. visit for more info::http://www.upsc.gov.in/ |

To Appear In IAS Exams, You Need A Bachelor’s degree of a recognised university with at least one of the subjects namely Animal Husbandry & Veterinary Science, Botany, Chemistry, Geology, Mathematics, Physcs, Statistics and Zoology or a Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Forestry or in Enginerring or an equivalent Qualification. So, Please dont Worry, You Are Eligible for IAS Examination, But Make Sure That Your Age Is Between 21 to 30 Years. And If You Are to Appear for the Qualifying Examination and You are Awaiting For Results are also Eligible to Appear for the Preliminary Examination. All such Candidates who qualify to Appear for the Civil Services Main Examination Must Produce proof of having passed the said examination along with their application for the Main Examination. So, Please Dont Worry, You Are Eligible to Appear In IAS Examinations. |

Friend; The Degree of Hotal Management is equivalent to the graduation then you are eligible for IAS examination because the eligibility criteria for IAS examination is graduation in any decipline from a recognize university and the age is between 21 to 30 years. You should have attained the age of 21 years and should not be over 30 years.
