Re: GATE demand draft, in whose name? for Online Application Form submission you should obtain a demand draft for the amount Rs 800/- (Rs 400/- for SC/ST/PD) only in favour of "Chairman GATE, IIT Kanpur" payable at Kanpur. for Offline Application Form you should obtain a demand draft for the amount Rs 1000/- (Rs 500/- for SC/ST/PD) payable at the city of the respective zonal GATE office. best of luck |

Re: GATE demand draft, in whose name? hy, Challan Payment:Payment by cash at State Bank of India or Indian Bank branches. For applying offline for GATE 2011 exam the DD is required to be made in favour of chairman, IIT, Kanpur payable at kanpur. |

If you provide me with the zone, ill be better able to help you out. In total there are 8 zones, so it is not possible to provide you details of all 8 zones. So kindly tell me your zone, and i will furnish you the complete details. |

Re: GATE demand draft, in whose name? Hi Since the last date for submission of GATE application form is over. So you should apply for the GATE examination next year. But for your knowledge for the next year, submit your DD tho the chairman of GATE of the respective zone. So you have to write “Chairman GATE, Name of zonal area."and send your DD in favor of Chairman GATE with the name of zone where you are willing to send your application. As for this year the last date for submission of form is over but for the next year send your DD to the chairman of GATE as explained above. So practice for the GATE exam for next year and get good score. GOOD LUCK |

Re: GATE demand draft, in whose name? hi! Candidates can submit Application Form in two different modes : GATE 2011 Online and GATE 2011 Offline. For applying online for GATE exam 2011 you are not required to make a DD of the appropriate amount. You can pay the application fee either through gateway payment or challan payment. Gateway Payment:Payment can be made using credit or debit cards or netbanking through the payment gateway of ICICI Bank / Bill Desk / HDFC. Challan Payment:Payment by cash at State Bank of India or Indian Bank branches. For applying offline for GATE 2011 exam the DD is required to be made in favour of chairman, IIT, Kanpur payable at kanpur. |

If You Have Apply For GATE Exams Offline Then The Duly filled-in Application Form with appropriate enclosures must be sent by Registered or Speed post to The Chairman, GATE of the Zone, where the candidate prefers (corresponding to the 1st Choice of Examination City) to appear for the examination, So as to reach on or before Tuesday, November 02, 2010. For Example - "The Chairman, GATE, IIT Rorkee"......... So, whenever You Fill The GATE Application form, Then Please Fill The Form By Visit Online. Or If You Apply Offline, Then Please Read The Full Information From The Application Broucher, All the Details Are Mention In The Broucher Of GATE. |
