Re: What is the age limit for ST candidates to apply for CDS exam Sir , I got BP in 2nd semester, in math and not been able to clear it . This is my 6 semester, can I apply for the cds? |

Re: What is the age limit for ST candidates to apply for CDS exam hi, CDS exam stands for combined defence service which is conducted by UPSC twice in a year. CDS exam is conducted to join;- Indian Military academy Navel academy Air force academy Officer Training academy You must be graduate from a Recognized university. Age limits;- 19-22 years for Indian air force 19-23 years for navy 19-24 years for Indian army 19-25 years for OTA exam. There is no age relaxation for sc category. All the best.................. |

C.D.S --- COMBINED DEFENSE SERVICE EXAMINATION This exam is conducted by the " Union Public Service Commission " To say frankly ... there is no reservation in age for the RESERVED CANDIDATES And for this the minimum age is "" 19 "" years And the maximum age is allowed up to "" 24 "" years After this you can not apply for the CDSE exam since no relaxation With this CDS exam .. you can apply for OFFICERS TRAINING ACADEMY INDIAN MILITARY ACADEMY AIR FORCE NAVY ...etc., So Prepare well There will be more Competition VERY GOOD LUCK |

Re: What is the age limit for ST candidates to apply for CDS exam In CDS there are 4 wings for which exam is conducted and they are: >> IMA - Graduation Pass in any Stream >> OTA- Graduation Pass in any Stream >> AIRFORCE- Graduation Pass with Phy and Maths as subjects in class 12th or BE/BTECH >> NAVY - Graduation Pass with Phy and Maths as subjects in class 12th or BE/BTECH AGE LIMITS- IMA- Between 19- 24 years OTA Between 19- 25 years NAVY - Between 19- 22 years AIR FORCE - Between 19- 23 years There is no Age Relaxation given to SC/ST candidates or even OBC candidates |

This exam conducted by the Union Public Service Commission twice in a year. CDS has three wings: Indian Military Academy Navy Indian Air force Eligibility: Age limit: Your Minimum age limit is 19 years. And maximum age limit is 24 years. There is no age relaxation for the SC\St candidates. Educational Qualification: You should complete the Graduation from any recognized University. There is no min percentage required for this exam. Final year pursuing candidates are eligible for this exam. Nationality: Candidate should be citizen of India. Gender: Only male candidates are eligible for this exam. But candidate should be unmarried. Female candidates are not eligible. All the best............ |

There is no special age relaxation for any reserved category candidate to apply for CDS. The eligible candidate must be an Indian unmarried National having completed Graduation in any stream from a recognised University within the age of 19 to 25 years with no upper age relaxation for SC/ST candidate with good Physical and Mental Fitness. In defence posts the rules are very strict in case of age and medical fitness . There is no age relaxation in terms of caste. So if you want to apply for CDS exam then you have to be according to following age criteria: -Air force Academy - 19 to 23 years -Naval Academy - 19 to 22 years -Indian Military Academy- 19 to 24 years -officers training Academy - 19 to 25 years Please note that you will be eligible for Navy and Air Force only when you have completed your Graduation in Engineering or Maths or Physics. The selection procedure will have following stages and you have to pass every stage of this exam. -Objective Type Paper -SSB Interview -Medical examination Hence you must be well prepared for CDS exam then only you will be able to qualify it.
