There are many colleges and universities which accept students with out gate score as they have their own criterion. And the courses they offer are also different. Some of the programs which are quite popular from core sector are like built environment, structural engineering, Robotics, artificial intelligence etc. These programs are in good demand in the job market and also you can easily get a job in any multinational organisation too. So, look for these programs as they have very good scope. |

Well of course you can go through the GATE examination through self study.But according to me you must prefer studying books rather than preparing online. Its better that you first download your GATE syllabus of your respective branch and then go for studying books or Pearson Publications,Tata-Mcgraw hill,R.K Bansal and other such books.I could have given you further information if you would have specified your branch. Its even better that you go through the old question papers. |

The subjects varies according to the discipline you chose for your exam. The course contents are available in the official website of GATE. So if you are very sure with your subject knowledge you can get good score, else there are many coaching centres to guide candidates for the competitive exams.
