Crime Branch:- It is one of the branches that every State Police has their own and is usually referred as Criminal Investigation Department.In order to join this branch, you need to join the police department . In some states, the entrance examination for recruitment of officers is conducted by the state police selection board of the particular state whereas, in other states, the entrance examination is conducted by the Public Service Commission of the state. To become CBI officer you have to appear for CGPE exam(Combined graduate Preliminary Exam) which is conducted by SSC board every year. The Eligibility criteria for the same is as under:- 1). You must be a graduate in any discipline. 2). Your age must be between 21 to 27 years. However there is a 5 years relaxation for SC/ST candidate & 3 years for OBC candidate. ALL THE BEST....... |

Re: Procedure to get a job in Crime branch? hello dear..!!! -->To become a CBI officer first you have to give the entrance exam conducted by the UPSC. -->if you have done your degree then you are eligible for that. --> age should be between 20-25 years. -->to become a CBI officer first you have to give the entrance exam. --> after clearing your exam you will be eligible for that. so,go ahead ....all the best....

Re: Procedure to get a job in Crime branch? Hi, To join the Crime Branch first you need to become the CBI officer. To join in CBI you need ve crack CGPE(Combine Graduation Preliminary Exam). This exam Conducted by the SSC(Staff Selection Committee). QUALIFICATION OF CBI OFFICER: Educational Qualification: To become an CBI officer you have to pass Bachelor degree course in any stream from recognized university. Age limit: Your age should be in between 20 to 27 years. The relaxation applicable for the sc/st candidates 5 years relaxation and obc 3 years. Gender: Both male and female candidates eligible to become an CBI officer but the candidate should be a citizen of india. Physical Standards: the candidate should be medically fit for this exam.
