Eligibility Criteria For CSAT exam Candidate should be graduate in any stream from recognized university. Age of the candidate is 21 to 30 year, If he/she belong from general category Age of the candidate is 21 to 33 year, If he/she belong from OBC category Age of the candidate is 21 to 35 year, If he/she belong from SC/ST category Nationality Should be Indian For more information you can visit www.upsc.gov.in good luck |

Re: What is the qualification required to become an IAS officer? yadi aapne kisi bhi subject me graduation(bachlor degree ) kiya hai ya aapka fi nal (last) year hai graduation ka to aap ias exam de sakte hai. aapki degree manyata prapt vishwavidyalaya se honi chahiye age limit- 21 se lekar 30 ke bich (21aur30milakar) jinki age hai wo ias exam de sakte hai sc/st candidate ke liye govt. ke niyam anusar chut di jayegi minimum percentage- koi minimum percent nirdharit nahi hai number of attempt- general candidate adhitam 4 bar aur obc aur sc/st candidate ke liye adhiktam 7 bar nirdharit hai |

This civil service exam conducted by the union public service commission(UPSC) every year. Eligibility criteria: Educational Qualification: the candidate complete the graduation from any recognized university. The final years candidates are also eligible for this exam. There is no minimum percentage of marks are required for this exam. Nationality: the candidate should be citizen of india. Age limit: the age limit should be between 21 to 30 years. The age relaxation should be obc candidates is 3 years. And the sc/st candidates is 5 years. Gender: both male and female candidates are eligible for this exam. Physical standards: the candidate should be physically and medically fit for this exam. Anyone who has completed 21 years of age on 1st August of the year can apply for IPS exam. You can read more information on this from the website of UPSC. Before appearing for Civil Services examinations, it is advisable to build an alternative career for yourself. So, you should for now pay attention to your engineering first and try to develop your personality. You can then later on sit for the IPS officer paper. |

IAS - INDIAN ADMINISTRATIVE SERVICE, to become an IAS officer one has to appear and crack Civil Service Exam conducted by UPSC once every year. The eligible candidate must be an Indian National having either appear for the final Graduation Degree exam or pass in any stream from a recognised University within the age of 21 to 30 years with upper age relaxation for SC/ST candidate up to 5 years and for OBC candidate up to 3 years. The selection is of three phases:- CSAT - CIVIL SERVICE APTITUDE TEST - PRELIMINARY EXAM comprises of all objective type questions.
