 The acronym for IPS is Indian Police Services. You can join IPS through civil service examination, which is conducted by UPSC every year. The eligibility criteria required for civil service examination are prescribed as below:- * Completion of graduation in any stream from any recognised college or university. * Age limit- 21-30 yrs for General, 21-33 yrs for OBC and 21-35 for SC/ST contendors.
