Re: Tips to crack CDS exam to become an Army Officer Eligibility criteria for CDS: 1. your age must be within 16.5-19 years. 2. For Army wing of NDA:- 12th Class pass of the 10+2 pattern of School Education conducted by a State Education Board. 3. For Air Force and Naval Wings of NDA:- 12th Class pass of the 10+2 pattern of School Education with Physics and Mathematics conducted by a State Education Board. 4. Candidates must be physically fit according to physical standards for admission to NDA. There are two steps of the exam- Written test and Interview. Written test comprises of 2 subjects: 1. Mathematics: 300marks 2. General Ability Test: 600marks Application form details: UPSC have developed an application form which can be processed on computer. This application form, an acknowledgement card and an envelope for sending the application will be available from the designated Head Post Offices/ Post Offices throughout the country. |

And for written first buy a ahrihant book previous year paper ...see the paper wat tye of question ask in exam wat is ur standard right now.......it is not very diffcult it is ur hardwork which make it easy...... For interview you have to have to focus personality. books to be referred: Manorama,frontline,CSR refresher.. regards, yash |

Re: Tips to crack CDS exam to become an Army Officer Hello friend, CDS exam is conducted by UPSC for the entry into the Indian Army. It consist of two test- Written exam SSB interview In order to sit for SSB interview, you need to clear the written exam. The minimum qualification needed for this exam is graduate of any course. For written exam, I would suggest you to get RS Agarwal book for maths and for other paper, you can get a book printed specially for CDS exam. Preparing from this material, you can easily qualify for SSB interview. SSB interview consist of 5 full days to check your knowledge, character, team player, communication, mentality, pshycology, etc. So, you need to start speaking english only, that also with confidence and improve your current affairs. First try to clear the written exam. Then you can plan later for SSB interview. All the best. Thank you. |

For Eligibility for CDSE 2011 :- (i) For IMA and OTA :- Degree of a recognised University or equivalent. For IMA 19 - 24 years (ii) For Naval Academy :- B.Sc. (with Physics & Mathematics) or Bachelor of Engineering. For NA 19 - 22 years (iii) For Air Force Academy :-Degree of a recognised University (with Physics and Mathematics at 10+2 level) or Bachelor of Engineering. For AFA 19 - 23 years For OTA 19 - 25 years If you are appearing at the degree or equivalent examination also eligible to compete subject to certain conditions. Means Final year students are also Eligible to write. Tips to crack:-
 This book covered all syllabus and topics for CDSE. You don't need any coaching for Cracking CDS, you can do it. Scene After cracking CDS

For writing the CDS exam you have to concentrate on your subjects as well as a good kowledge of general knowlege. You can refer: Exam:Upkar books,Gupta's CDS EXAM books.
