Hi dear, to do job or to do M.TECH depends on you. first decide this thing clearly. i will suggest you to go for higher studies . after that you will be eligible for jobs in PSUs in a higher post. you will also get higher salary as compared to b.tech. but if you want to join PSUs after b.tech then you can aspect salary of around 30,000 per month. I am going to list a few points which may help you in deciding 1.) PSU needs exams to be cleared, and then interview to get you employed. But after that your life is set. You dont need to look back. 2.) GATE exam , once you clear, you are open to a lot of PSUs also, as many of them recruit directly on GATE score. but it also enables you to think abuot Mtech, and extending your academic career further. 3.) M tech would increase your market value, and give u an edge over the B-Tech people 4.) PSU salaries are not much, when you see such inflation in our country. Its between 10,600 to 29,000 depending on how well you do in their exam or your GATE score and the interview of course. 5.) Also once you start earning, it certainly drains your interest in studies, and so you won't be interested in studying any further, which may hinder your growth later in life. So now you can decide with what career you want to go ahead with. good luck. |

Salary Packages in PSU companies for ECE Engineers? sir, This is full depend on you if you do Mtech is too good,you will go throug the depth of that subject,it makes u make any achivements in that field  Another one thing is you get placed in psu companies in college. If you have any economic problem in family you better to go for job,after some 2 or 3 year again you join &complete with correspondence also. When you get job in psu companies like BSNL,MTNL,ISRO,DRDO,BELL,BHEL.In this companies they gave good salary & they give very good exposure of talented students.There salary package is also starts from 50,000 for one month & also make hike salary for talent exposured students. They make good opportunities for who starts to contuine the study[correspondence]. This all depend on you which one is good for you take &do succes in these field All best for your future. |

If you want to go for job then apply for PSU's .. Otherwise, if you have interest in doing higher studies then you can go for it.. My suggestion is if you get a job after completion of B.tech , then continue the job.. After gathering the experience of few years , you can go for higher studies, for a better designation... If you don't get a job after completion of B.tech then you can go for M.tech.. Now it is up to you.. All the best.. |

It is fully depend on you if you want to study further than you can do M.tech and if you want to do job then you can prepare for PSU exams. one thing i want to clear you that after M.tech you will find your career in field of teaching so be prepare for it and you can also give PSU exams. Salary in PSU's is around 40 thousand per month. |

Dear, hi, Actually it is more usefull to study after b.tech. if you complete your mtech after btech and then if you recruit in PSUs your salary will be more as your degree is m.tech. after ECE better is to complete your mtech from a very good institution with a very good subject. then join in PSUs. the salary, responsibilty, scope, job opportunity all will be high after mtech. People will tell you that M.Tech will get you better jobs with fat pay packets; but if you consider the case of NTPC (a Maharatna category company), you will find that this is far from the truth...because here at NTPC, fresh Technical graduates are recruited through the 'Executive Trainee Scheme' Moreover, these days the Navaratna and Maharatna PSUs are offering real hefty pay packets (between Rs 30,000 and 50, 000), so there is nothing to lose. I'll only add that no matter what you choose, you will have to work very hard in order to ensure that you either get a very coveted job with the Navaratna/Maharatna PSUs or score really high at both the UG and PG level. |

After all choice is yours,if you have much more interest in job so you can join PSU. there are so many options for ECE engineer. through this stream you can get job in Govt as well as private sector.
