And for optionals you need to be very carefull as they help to score more so you can chose any subjects which you feel easy.. And for applying it you need to check it at www.upsc.gov.in |

Civil services examinations are one of the toughest exams of India and every year lacs of candidates give this examination but very few of them are selected. In order to pass this exam ,you must have strong determination,courage along with hard labour .Self motivation plays an important role in success in these type of examinations.You must give your level best then only you will be able to achieve success. Now coming to your query: The minimum age limit for the examination is 21 years and upper age limit is 30 years for general,33 years for the obc and 35 years for the sc/st respectively. >>You must be an Indian Citizen. Since you have finished your graduation ,you can apply for the examination if you believe that you have done sufficient preparation in order to achieve success as there are limited attempts .Four for general,seven for obc and no limit for the sc/st. The whole process of IAS is as follows :- IAS is a civil service exam conducted every year in India by Union Public service commission.
