Andhra Pradesh police Department has been conducting the recruitment of different posts in to the government police services by conducting the candidates written test and the physical ability test for different categories of posts all over the Andhra..... 2.According to the vacancies available all over the India.The examination is conducted and the selected candidates are given the post depending on their capability.... 3.There are some eligibility criteria which must be followed in order to appear for the examination or for the selection process...... Eligibility criteria for the Sub Inspector of Police: *Age limit- 1.You must have attained the age of 18 years and must not exceed the age of 30 years... *Educational Qualifications- 1.You must have completed the graduation degree in any discipline.The degree should be recognized from the University of the India.... These are the eligibility criteria which must be followed.... Sub Inspector Police • Qualification Required A degree in Arts, Science or Commerce from a recognized Indian University. • Age Required Must be in between 20-30 years. Relaxation for SC/ST/OBC/ ex-service men by 5 years. • Height required For men : 170 cms Chest : 81-86 cms For Female candidates : 152 cms Weight : 47.5 kg  • Nationaliy Indian • You must have well health, free from defect/ deformity/ disease. • Both eyes should have a vision 6/12 (without glasses). • Selection Procedure It is based on a written test followed by the physical efficiency test. Hi, Selections for the Police Sub-inspectors through SSC exam consists of a 400 marks written test, which consists of 2 papers - Paper-I & Paper-II, each paper worth 200 marks. Those shortlisted after PET & medical test (as described below) are called for a 100mark interview. Based on the relative performance of all the candidates in Paper-I , the cut-off for Police SI exam in Paper-I would be decided by Staff Selection Commission. Those above this cut-off would be called for Physical Endurance Test (PET) and Medical test, both of which are only qualifying in nature. If you can clear PET & medical test, the marks you scored in both Paper-I & II would be aggregated and shortlisting would be done to call you for the 100 mark Personality Test / Interview syllabus prescribed for Police SI Exam as given in the notification: Syllabus for Paper -I: Part-A. General Intelligence & Reasoning : It would include questions of both verbal and non-verbal type. This component may include questions on analogies, similarities and differences, space visualization, spatial orientation, problem solving, analysis, judgment, decision making, visual memory, discrimination, observation, relationship concepts, arithmetical reasoning and figural classification, arithmetic number series, non-verbal series, coding and decoding, statement conclusion, syllogistic reasoning etc. The topics are: Semantic Analogy, Symbolic/Number Analogy, Figural Analogy, Semantic Classification, Symbolic/Number Classification, Figural Classification, Semantic Series, Number Series, Figural Series, ProblemSolving, Word Building, Coding & de-coding, Numerical Operations, symbolic Operations, Trends, Space Orientation, Space Visualization, Venn Diagrams, Drawing inferences, Punched hole/pattern-folding & un-folding, Figural Pattern- folding and completion, Indexing Address matching, Date & city matching Classification of centre codes/roll numbers, Small & Capital letters/numbers coding, decoding and classification, Embedded Figures, Critical thinking, Emotional Intelligence, Social Intelligence etc. Part- B. Dear Friend; Its good that you work in Police Department and want to make the Country Crime free but for your information for becoming and Police Inspector a candidate should be fit Physically as well as mentally.
