Re: How can I join NDA exam if I am a Arts student Dear Friend There is nothing to worry if you are from Arts stream ,you are eligible for the National defense academy examinations organised twice every year by the UPSC. But there is one thing that is you will be only allowed to join the Indian army if you clear the NDA exams. Other than educational requirements ,you should fulfill the other requirements which are as follows: >>Age:16.5 to 19 years. >>Nationality: Indian. >>Only male candidates are allowed for the exam. Re: How can I join NDA exam if I am a Arts student An Arts students is eligible for NDA examination only for Indian Army.For joining the air force you need to be having physics and mathematics as your main subjects in 12th. So if you want to join only Indian Army then you can definitely apply for NDA exam and the eligibility criteria for the same is as under- 1. You must be a 12th pass from a recognized Board Of Education. 2. You must be an Indian Citizen. 3. Only Unmarried male are eligible to apply for it. 4. You must not have any physical or mental disabilities. So if you want to join only Indian Army then you can definitely apply for NDA exam provided you fulfill other criteria. Eligibility for NDA Exam: -10+2 pass from a recognised Board Of Education. Re: How can I join NDA exam if I am a Arts student If you belong from the arts category then you cannot apply for the Indian air force wing in the NDA but you can apply for the army and the navy wing. For joining the air force you need to be having physics and mathematics as your main subjects in 12th. For giving the NDA exam your age should be in between 16-19.5 years of age. The exam is conducted by the upsc twice in an year. Gud luck |

NDA - National Defence Academy conducted by UPSC twice every year- The candidate must be an unmarried Indian Male having either appear for 12th exam or pass in any stream from a recognised Board within the age of 16.5 to 19 years with good Physical Fitness. CDA - Combined Defence Service conducted by UPSC twice every year -The candidate wishing to join Indian Army, must be an Indian unmarried Male having either appear for the final Graduation Degree exam or pass in any stream from a recognised University within the age of 19 to 24 years with good Physical Fitness.
