Best coaching institutes: 1.RAUs study circle 2.Bright careers academy. all the best. regards, yash if you are having above 60% marks in graduation and you are not exceeding the age limit of 28 years as required for the exam, then you are surely eligible to give the exam. the notification of the exam will come in the employment news. so keep checking that regularly. you can also find the updates regarding the exam on www.upsc.gov.in Reply With Quote |

Re: Can I become an IAS after B.Tech in Computer Science? hi, Yes,you can join for IAS exam as any Graduate from a recognised university or a college in India is the minimum eligibility criteria for IAS. He/She should be 21years to 30 yrs of age at the time of appearing in the UPSC held Civil Services Examination. UPSC conduct CIVILSERVICE exam for top service like IAS,IPS,IFS and for other government jobs.Even this onwards the pattern of exam also changed as it doesnot have any special subject and the paper will be same for all the candidates. thank |

Re: Can I become an IAS after B.Tech in Computer Science? the eligibility criteria for IAS exam is graduate (from any field) or equivalent .. so you can be an IAS officier if you get through the exams ... there is 1 prelims exam 1 mains and if you get through both then there will be an interview.. |

Re: Can I become an IAS after B.Tech in Computer Science? Yes of course. You are eligible to apply for IAS after B.Tech. The basic eligibility as to appear in the IAS exam is to have a graduation. Candidates only need to have passed their graduation. No percentage specification is asked. Candidates must be under the age of 30 years as to appear in the IAS exam. For this, you need to write civil service exam conducted by UPSC (Union public service commission). It consist of prelims mains interview. The eligibility criteria is you have to be graduate or equivalent. All the best. |

Age limit:21 to 30 years,relaxation available according to Indian Regulations. Your engineering subject is not listed on the listed subject for appearing examination,but you can choose any two from the list for appearing.
