Re: Date of CPT online entrance exam? Hi dear, Common Proficiency Test (CPT) is an entry Stage test for Chartered Accountancy Course. Education eligibility:-- minimum 12 th pass or even graduates are too allowed.. CPT exam conducts twice a year..in the month of 1st JUNE 1st OCTOBER and notification come before 2 months ..(There are rarely chances of change in dates.) THE exam pattern consists of 4 hours of two papers and each of 2 hours.. Syllabus session I Section A consists of Fundamental of Accounting of 60 marks Section B consists of Mercentalie Law of 40 marks. session II Section A consists of General Economics of 50 marks Section B consists of Quantitative of 50 marks. Re: Date of CPT online entrance exam? Dear Friend The term CPT stands for Common Proficiency Test which is basically for those students who dream is Chartered Account. CPT examination are held twice in a year,one in the month of December and other one is in the month of June. The last date for the upcomming CPT exam is 25 th April but you will have to register now..This is the time for the CPT registration. But remember one thing that you will have to register in the Indian Institute of Chartered Accountant(IICA) first. Best Wishes for your career. All the best. |

Re: Date of CPT online entrance exam? The notification for CPT online entrance exam is not yet announced. Anyway it is expected the notification will be announced in the month of July, 2011. CPT- Common Proficiency Test is an entry level test for chartered accountancy course. It is a test of 4 subjects -Accounting -Mercantile laws -General Economics -Quantitative aptitude. This test is for 200 marks. This test is divided into 2 sections of 2 hours each. It is an objective type multiple choice based examination.
