Commencement of Examination from: June 1st week, 2011

• Last date for examination: Mid June, 2011

The date of CPT online exam is not release yet .But it is near by in the month of aug \sept of 22nd, 23rd\25th,26th.

Common Proficiency Test (CPT) is an entry Stage test for Chartered Accountancy Course.

Education eligibility:--

minimum 12 th pass or even graduates are too allowed..

CPT exam conducts twice a year..in the month of

1st JUNE

1st OCTOBER

and notification come before 2 months ..(There are rarely chances of change in dates.)

THE exam pattern consists of 4 hours of two papers and each of 2 hours..

Syllabus

session I

Section A consists of Fundamental of Accounting of 60 marks

Section B consists of Mercentalie Law of 40 marks.

session II

Section A consists of General Economics of 50 marks

Section B consists of Quantitative of 50 marks.

date of registration for june 2011 exam is 1st week of april 2011 or before. and for decemer 2011 exam is 1st week of october.

Last Date for submission application form for CA-CPT examination

for June Examination : 25th April

for December Examination : 27th October

the date of examination paper pencil mode 5th June, 2011
4th December, 2011

Cost of examination application Form
For an examination center within India - Rs. 100.
For overseas examination center - $10.

Examination Fee (including application form)
For an examination center within India - Rs. 600.
For Kathmandu centre - Rs.950
For other overseas examination centers - $160.

The notification for CPT online entrance exam is not yet announced.

Anyway it is expected the notification will be announced in the month of July, 2011.

CPT- Common Proficiency Test is an entry level test for chartered accountancy course.

It is a test of 4 subjects
-Accounting
-Mercantile laws
-General Economics
-Quantitative aptitude.

This test is for 200 marks.
This test is divided into 2 sections of 2 hours each.

It is an objective type multiple choice based examination.

Dear Friend
The term CPT stands for Common Proficiency Test which is basically for those students who dream is Chartered Account.

CPT examination are held twice in a year,one in the month of December and other one is in the month of June.

The last date for the upcomming CPT exam is 25 th April but you will have to register now..This is the time for the CPT registration.

But remember one thing that you will have to register in the Indian Institute of Chartered Accountant(IICA) first.
