Hi I am a student of NIT Calicut. GATE rank of about 1500-3500 is sufficient to get a seat in NITs. it varies very much according to the NITs. most of the NITs conduct their own Interviews. There are no written exams after the GATE exam for selection into the NITs. there are good chances of getting placed, even in NITs. packages vary from branch to branch and varies among the NITs. |
