Re: Can I give NDA entrance exam after completing 12th by PCM NDA stand for National Defence Service Exam.This exam is conduct twice time in a year. NDA Examination is conducted in 3 wings:-Indian Air Force , Indian Navy and Indian Army . Educational Qualification : - Those candidate have completed 12th standard are applicable for NDA Exam . NDA exam not requre any kind of percentage marks so your marks is acceptable for NDA exam. You have completed 12th standard with PCM so you are applicable for NDA exam for all above Branches. Nationality : - You must have a citizenship of India . Age : - 16.5 to 19 years old . There is no age relaxation provide for reserved candidate . The selection procedure for NDA exam is 1) Written Test. 2) Personal Interview. Pattern for NDA exam :- You can apply in NDA exam through UPSC website.You can apply here online process also.You have option for Offline system also. This will be the first NDA exam for the year 2013 Notification is already out for this exam and the last date to aply is 21st January 2013. Eligibilty to sit in the NDA exam is: 12th Pass But if you want to apply for the Airforce and Navy wing than in 12th you should have passed the subjects physics and Mathematics. There is no minimum percentage of marks required in class 12th. Age: If you want to apply for the next NDA exams than you should ahve born between 2nd January 1995 to 1st July 1997 Only Male candidates can apply So, if you meet the above eligibilty, than you can apply |

 The acronym for NDA is National Defence Academy. Yes definitely, you can join NDA entrance examination after completing 12th by PCM. The NDA examination is conducted by Union Public Service Commission(UPSC) every year. This examination is conducted in three wings are mentioned as below:- * Indian Army. * Indian Navy. * Indian Air Force. This examination is taken by three procedures are mentioned as below:- * Written examination. * Interview. * Medical examination. The eligibility criteria required for this examination are prescribed as below:- * Completion of graduation with PCM from any recognised board. * Age limit- 16.5-19 yrs. * Age relaxation- no age relaxation. * Sex- Male. * Nationality- Indian. * Marital status- Single or unmarried.  Yes you can give the NDA Entrance exam no matter you have got just 48% in 12th with PCM. This is because , as per the eligibility criteria set by the Union Public Service Commission for the NDA Examination : The Minimum Educational Qualification should be 12th from any recognized board. Also , 12th appearing students can apply for NDA-I only. Age Criteria : Your age should lie in between 16.5-19 years. * You must be physically and mentally fit. * you must be an unmarried Indian Male. * Girls are not allowed to appear in the NDA Exam. This is the information i have to the best of my knowledge regarding your query. Hope the information will help you to the extent you want. |

NDA - National Defence Academy, the exam for which is conducted by UPSC twice every year as NDA-I and NDA-II for an entry in to Indian Army, Navy and Air Force wing of NDA. The eligible candidate must be an Indian unmarried Male having either appear for the 12th exam or pass in any steam from a recognised Board within the age of 16.5 to 19 years with good Physical and Mental health. As you are with science stream(PCM), you can apply for all the three wings of NDA but the candidate having without the above science subject, is only eligible to apply for Indian Army of NDA. Your age limit should be between 16.5 to 19 years. You should have minimum 70% marks in 12th PCM. You must have Indian citizenship. Only un-married are eligible for NDA examination. You should be physically and mentally fit. But don't worry If you want to join army, there are following methods to join through 12th base. You can take part in clerical entry in the Indian army. After join Indian army, You are eligible for ACC exam. You can join 12th base scheme and eligible for the army. Best of luck for your bright future. Navneet thakur. |

Re: Can I give NDA entrance exam after completing 12th by PCM Yes, 12th pass is the basic qualification for NDA. Those who have completed the course with PCM can try for navy or air force. Unmarried males are only eligible to apply. Lower age limit of the candidate must be 16 ½ years. Those above 19 years of age are not eligible. |
