sir, i have completed 12 by pcm, but i got 48 percent, so can i give nda entrance exam?

Yes, 12th pass is the basic qualification for NDA. Those who have completed the course with PCM can try for navy or air force. Unmarried males are only eligible to apply. Lower age limit of the candidate must be 16 ½ years. Those above 19 years of age are not eligible.

According to my point of view, You are not eligible for NDA examionation which is conducted by UPSC and held twice in a year. Because you got only 48% in 12th with PCM. There are following eligibility criteria for NDA examination.

Your age limit should be between 16.5 to 19 years.
You should have minimum 70% marks in 12th PCM.
You must have Indian citizenship.
Only un-married are eligible for NDA examination.
You should be physically and mentally fit.

But don't worry

If you want to join army, there are following methods to join through 12th base.

You can take part in clerical entry in the Indian army.
After join Indian army, You are eligible for ACC exam.
You can join 12th base scheme and eligible for the army.

Yes, you sre eligible to give NDA entrance exam after completing 12th by PCM.

NDA - National Defence Academy, the exam for which is conducted by UPSC twice every year as NDA-I and NDA-II for an entry in to Indian Army, Navy and Air Force wing of NDA.

The eligible candidate must be an Indian unmarried Male having either appear for the 12th exam or pass in any steam from a recognised Board within the age of 16.5 to 19 years with good Physical and Mental health.

As you are with science stream(PCM), you can apply for all the three wings of NDA but the candidate having without the above science subject, is only eligible to apply for Indian Army of NDA.

NDA stand for National Defence Service Exam.This exam is conduct twice time in a year. NDA Examination is conducted in 3 wings:-Indian Air Force , Indian Navy and Indian Army .

The National Defense Academy(NDA) Exam is conducted every year by the UPSC for recruitment of candidates to the following wings :-

The next NDA exams will be held on 14th April 2013
This will be the first NDA exam for the year 2013
Notification is already out for this exam and the last date to aply is 21st January 2013.

Eligibilty to sit in the NDA exam is: 12th Pass
But if you want to apply for the Airforce and Navy wing than in 12th you should have passed the subjects physics and Mathematics.
There is no minimum percentage of marks required in class 12th.

Age: If you want to apply for the next NDA exams than you should ahve born between 2nd January 1995 to 1st July 1997

Only Male candidates can apply
