Re: Scope of Company Secretary course after MBA?

Hello,
There is no doubt that a company secretary is recognized as one of the principal officers of the company by various enactments. They occupy a pivotal and versatile position in companies. The companies having a paid up share capital of above Rs. 50 lakhs or more are required to appoint a whole-time CS.Therefore from this point itself it is clear that there is good scope after the CS course and having an MBA will definitely be an added advantage.

The scopes for company secretaries are lots like in the private sector and public corporate sector, banks and financial institutions, stock exchanges, the Department of Company Affairs, company law boards and government departments. The package too stands good for the CS.The larger the company, the wider are its field activity with better salary pacakages.

With the modern globalisation having a massive boost to corporate activity and along with it the openings for company secretaries are on a tremondous growth.

CS is one of the well recognized courses. A company secretary occupies a prominent position in a company. An MBA graduate with a CS course certification will definitely have an added advantage. The CS has vast career growth in different private and public companies.
