Re: How to apply for Bank exam after completing B.Tech? heloo friend, There are a number of banks in India among which some are private and other are government banks but all of those banks are highly reputed and brilliant one's and have vacant vacancies too. Each private bank conducts it sown entrance exam,which you must have to qualify to appear for that job vacancy. But government banks form commission which recruit exams for the different government banks and one of the commission is IBPS or Institute of banking personnel selection which conducts exam for the recruitment of candidates into different government banks according to the marks. But to appear for any of the exam,whether private or government,you need to satisfy certain eligibility conditions as follows : --educational qualification : you need to be graduate from recognized & well reputed university. --age limit : (in maximum of the cases) you need to be within 21-30 years. --Number of attempts  in some cases)4 for general and 7 otherwise. good luck !! |

Degree, one can apply for Bank P.O.(Probationary Officer) job, the exam foe which is generally conducted by SBI and IBPS(Institute of Banking Personal Selection). The eligible candidate must be an Indian National having completed Graduation degree in any stream of education from a recognised University within the age of 21 to 30 years with upper age relaxation for reserved candidate. You can apply to various bank exams like IBPS Bank Clerk Exam, IBPS Bank PO Exam,SBI PO Exam,RBI Exams,IBPS Gramin Bank Exam, IBPS Specialist Officer Exam,etc. To become a Bank PO you can can appear in : 1.IBPS PO Exams IBPS conducts exams on behalf of 20 public sector banks. These exams are conducted 2 times a year. IBPS PO Exams consists of -: Online Written Exam and Common Interviews. For more details visit www.ibps.in Eligibilty for the IBPS BANK PO exams: Min educational qualifications is Graduation Pass with 60% Age should be between 20 and 30 years OBC gets 3 years and SC/ST gets 5 years age relaxations A certificate in Computer BASICS & Computer literacy is must. 2.SBI PO Exams SBI conducts its own exams for hiring for various posts based on vacancies present.  IBPS conducts Banking examination for the posts of Clerk and PO. The eligibility criteria required for the banking examination are prescribed as below:- * Completion of graduation in any stream from any recognised college or university. * Age limit- 20-28 yrs for Clerk and 20-30 yrs for PO. * Age relaxation- 3 yrs for OBC and 5 yrs for SC/ST contendors. Yeah yes you are eligible for bank exams, the best way for bank exams is IBPS(Institute of Banking Personal Selectio). IBPS conducting the bank exam for Clerk and PO exams. Eligibility criteria for PO:- Candidate should be complete graduation from a recognised university. Percentage is not required for this exam. The candidate must be an indian origin. Age criteria for PO:- The age limits are 21 years to 30 years, 3 years age relaxation for OBC candiates, 5 years age relaxation for SC/ST candidates. Eligibility details for Clerk exam:- The candidate should be complete graduation from a recognise university. The candidate must be a citizen of INDIA. There is no percentage restrictions to apply this exam. Age details for clerk:- The age limits are 20 to 28 years, 3years upper age relaxaton for OBC candidates, 5 years upper age relaxation for SC/ST candidates. However since you have not been able to find job ever since completing Engineering way back in 2005, I think you should definitely apply for the Bank PO entrance exam. The Bank PO entrance exam is conducted by the Institute of Banking Personnel Services (IBPS), which conducts entrance exam on the behalf of 19 Public Sector Banks. If you cleared the exam with good marks, you will have option of applying for job in any of the following 19 Public Sector Banks. Public Sector Banks List Allahabad Bank Andhra Bank Bank of Baroda Bank of Maharashtra Bank of India Central Bank of India Canara Bank Dena Bank Corporation Bank Indian Overseas Bank Indian Bank Punjab National Bank Oriental Bank of Commerce Syndicate Bank Punjab & Sind Bank United Bank of India Union Bank of India Vijaya Bank UCO Bank Eligibility 1. No prior work experience is required to apply for his position. Upper age limit of the applicant must be 30 years. Candidates belonging to reserved category can enjoy relaxation in age. OBC category candidates can have 3 year age relaxation and SC/ST candidates can have 5 years. |
