Indian Administration Service exam is held once in year is conducted by UPSC Minimum Eligibility for IAS/IPS exam Minimum Qualification 1.Graduated from recognized university in any discipline. 2.final year student can also apply. Age should be between 21 to 30 years for General category candidates 21to 33 year for OBC category candidates 21 to 35 years for SC/ST category candidates Number of attempts: 4 attempts for General category candidates. 7 attempts for Obc category candidates 14 attempts for SC/ST category candidates. There are 3 stages in IAS that should be cleared by the candidate. first one is preliminary exam (it is objective type exam) second is main exam (Question to be answer in length) third is personal interview Clearing one will get you to another level exam. |

The eyesight eligibilty as you requested is: 6/6 or 6/9 distant vision for good eye 6/12 or 6/9 for worst eye Physical Requirement: Height: Male 165 cm Female 150 cm Chest: Male - Min 84 cm Expansion 5 cm Female - Min 79 cm expansion 5 cm |

FRIEND, For The IAS exam there is no criteria of minimum marks required in the Graduation to be eligible to appear in the CIVIL SERVICES EXAM conducted by UPSC. Your age must be between 21 to 30 years and 3 and 5 years of relaxation is given to OBC and SC/ST category candidates respectively. You must be an INDIAN CITIZEN. You are allowed only 4 attempts if you are from general category and No limit and 7 attempts for the SC/ST and OBC category candidates respectively. If you are in the final year of Graduation then also you are eligible to appear in the exams of CIVIL SERVICES. [SIZE="3"]THE POSTS THROUGH THE CIVIL SERVICES EXAMINATIONS ARE: [/SIZE]  The Selection is conducted in three stages: 1)CSAT 2)MAINS 3)PERSONAL INTERVIEW.
