Age limits for Junior Research Fellowship(JRF) should be below 28 years, no minimum age limit but the candidates age should be above 18 years.Relaxation of 3 years for OBC candidates,Relaxation of 5years for SC/ST candidates. There no limits age for Lectureship candidates. |

No any Age Criteria for applying Lectureship Post but for Junior Research Fellowship Post age not Exist 28 years this exam |

Eligibility: The candidate should be complete the Post Graduation for this exam. Candidate need the min 55% of marks in Post Graduation. 5% marks relaxation for SC\ST candidates. Age limit: Junior Research Fellowship: The candidate age limit not more than 28 years. Lectureship: No upper age limit for this candidate Lectureship. All the best............ |

UGC NET - University Grant Commission National Eligibility Test AGE LIMIT & RELAXATION : Junior Research Fellowship: Not more than 28 years as on 01.12.2012. A relaxation upto 5 years is provided to the candidates belonging to SC/ST/PWD/OBC (Non-creamy layer, as per the Central list of OBC available on website : www.ncbc.nic.in) categories and to women applicants. Relaxation will also be provided to the candidates having research experience, limited to the period spent on research in the relevant/related subject of post-graduation degree, subject to a maximum of 5 years, on production of a certificate from appropriate authority. Three years’ relaxation in age will be permissible to the candidates possessing L.L.M. Degree. Total age relaxation on the above ground(s) shall not exceed five years under any circumstances. Lectureship: There is no upper age limit for applying for lectureship eligibility. |

UGC NET - University Grant Commission National Eligibility Test conducted by UGC every year for selection of Lectureship and award to Junior Research Fellowship(JRF) There is no upper age limit for those applying for Lectureship but those applying for JRF should be limited to 28 years of age. Apart from this the eligible candidate must be an Indian national having completed Post Graduation Degree in any stream from a recognised University with 55% marks, can apply for NET. |

NET stands for N[/U]ational Eligibility Test. Eligibility criteria:- The candidates who are interested to apply for NET exam should have to complete Master's Degree with atleast 55%of marks from a recognised university. Final year persuing candidates can also be eligible. Candidate should be a citizen of India. 5% of marks relaxation for SC/ST category candidates. Age criteria details:- The age limits for Junior Research Fellowship(JRF) should be below 28 years, no minimum age limit but the candidates age should be above 18 years. Relaxation of 3 years for OBC candidates, Relaxation of 5years for SC/ST candidates. There no limits age for Lectureship candidates. The acronym for UGC is University Grants Commission. The acronym for NET is National Eligibility Test. UGC conducts NET examination twice every year in the June and December months. NET examination is conducted for the two posts:- * Lectureship. * Junior Research Fellowship(JRF). The eligibility criteria required for the NET examination are prescribed as below:- * Completion of post-graduation with 55% marks from any recognised university. * 50% marks required in post-graduation for SC/ST contendors. * Nationality:- Indian. * Age limit:- 21-28 yrs for JRF; and no age limit is required for Lectureship. * Age relaxation:- 5 yrs relaxation is granted for SC/ST, OBC, and PWD contendors.
