NDA ie :- National Defence Academy . This Examination is conducted UPSC (Union Public Service Commission) . The Examination is conducted twice in year . You should be complete 12th board Examination ( or) equivalent Examination from recognized university from recognized university . There is no Minimum percentage of marks for NDA Examination . If your passed in all the subjects in 12th Examination then your eligible to apply for this Examination . If your aspiring to apply for Army academy then you should finished 12th Examination or equivalent examination in any discipline like Commerce , science , arts from recognized university . If your aspiring to apply for Navy and Airforce academy then you should be complete 12th Examination or equivalent examination in science stream with physics , chemistry , mathematics from recognized university . The commerce as well as arts stream candidate are not eligible to apply for the Navy and Airforce academy. Your age should be not less then 16 1/2 years and not more then 19 years then only your eligible for NDA Examination and there is no relaxation is given to any category candidates . If your above 19 years age then your not eligible for NDA Examination . You should be citizen for India . If your other country citizen then your not eligible for NDA Examination . You should be physically as well as mentally fit for NDA Examination ( Ex:-) Eyesight , weight , and height etc... You should be male Unmarried candidate then only your eligible for NDA Examination . Girls are not eligible to apply for NDA Examination as per the roles . So , as per the eligibility criteria your not eligible for NDA Examination . If your aspiring to apply for defence academy then you may pursue for CDS ( Combined Defence service ) in OTA ( Officer Training Academy ) which is conducted by ( UPSC Union public service Commission ) twice in year . |

Girls can not join NDA because according to UPSC girls are not eligible for it.Girls can not apply for civil services after completion of 12th because they are only eligible after completion of graduation. Graduation is must for girls.NDA stands for National Defense Academy and it is a entrance exam which is used to enter into the field of civil services after completion of 12th with any of the stream.  As there are types of civil services that comes under NDA: 1.Indian Navy 2.Indian Air Force 3.Indian Military You can apply for NDA after completion of 12th with more than 50% marks under some recognized university or board with any of the following stream:- 1.Arts 2.Commerce 3.Non-Medical 4.Medical You must be eligible for NDA only then after you can apply for it.NDA is conducted by UPSC and it is held as twice in a year. Eligibility criteria for NDA: 1.You must be an Indian. 2.Your age should lies between 16.5 to 19 years. 3.Your eye sight should be correct i.e.6/6. 4.You must be physically fit. 5.Girls are not eligible for it. 6.Only unmarried males are eligible for it. Requirements for NDA are : >> you must be an Indian Citizen >> You must have successfully Passed 12th from any Recognised Board >> You must be unmarried >> You must be MALE >> Your age must lie in mid of 16 to 19.5 And as you can see that You are a Girl so according to norms of UPSC you cant apply for NDA  Thanks ,, I hope it helps you... |

AFCAT: It has 3 branches: FLYING BRANCH TECHNICAL BRANCH GROUND DUTY For all the 3 any female candidate can apply. Eligibility: B Tech/BE from any stream for Flying and technical or any graduate with 3 years course can apply. AGE: 19 to 23 years. This exam conducted by Union Public Service Commission twice in a year. i.e, NDA-I and NDA-II NDA has three wings: Indian Army Indian Navy Indian Air force Eligibility: Nationality: The candidate should be Citizen of India. Educational Qualification: The candidate should be complete the 12th standard from recognized state board of India. No percentage required for this exam. PCM subjects are required for the Indian Navy and Air force. Age Limit: The candidate minimum age is 16.5 years. The candidate maximum age is 19 years. Gender: Only male candidates are eligible. But candidate should be unmarried. Female candidates are not eligible. Selection Process: Written Test SSB Interview Medical Test all the best. |

 Iam really sorry to say this you are not eligible for National Defence Academy. Because Girls are not eligible for NDA examination, the details about NDA exam is given below. UPSC conducting this exam every year twice. Educational qualification:- The candidate should have to be complete 12th standard or any equivalent from any recognised board. Percentage is not an issue to apply NDA. Final year exams appearing students are also eligible. Age criteria:- The age limitrs of the applicant should be in between 16 1/2 years to 19 years and upper age relaxation. Gender:- Unmarried and male candidates should only eligible for NDA exam i.e Married male candidates and Girls are not applicable for NDA examination. Nationality:- You must be a citizen of India, Or A subject of Nepal, Or, A subject of Bhutan, Or, A tibetian refugee who came over india permanently. Sorry , girls are not allowed to appear in the National Defense Academy Exams.... Eligibility and Criteria: 10 + 2 passed fro any stream from recognized Board...... Final years students also eligible for it.... No Percentage required for the NDA exam...... Age Limit :- 16.5 to 19 years..... There is no age relaxation for this exam.... Re: Can girls really join NDA? Hi dear.. As per the eligibility criteria for NDA, Only unmarried male candidates are allowed. Being a girl, if you want to join Defence, then you can do so by appearing for CDSE (Combined Defence Services Exam) held by UPSC every year. The eligibility criteria for this exam is as follows :- > Aspirant should be a graduate in any stream > Age should be between 19 to 25 years So, first of all you have to be a graduate. If you want to go in Air Force /Navy then you should have Physics and Mathematics in +2. You can apply for other exams too like AFCAT for Air Force. All the best..! Regards Sammy |

Indian Airforce, Indian Army, Indian Navy To appear in this exam aspirant should be 12th pass with minimum 55% marks from a recognized university. Candidate should have Physics,Chemistry and Maths as a main subject in their 12th class. Age should be between 16.5 years to 19 years. Only Unmarried male candidate can appear in NDA Exam. |

UPSC or Union Public Service Commission conducts a number of exams along with this defense services exam like as civil service exams etc.UPSC conducts NDA exam for the recruitment of candidates into different services as : --Indian army --Indian air force --Indian naval forces To appear for this exam,eligibility is necessary as follows : 1.Educational qualifications : you must have passed 12th from science stream and from recognized board of india. 2.Age limit : you must be within 16.5 to 19 years of age. 3.Nationality : you must be indian. 4.Sex and MArital status : YOU MUST BE UNMARRIED MALE AS GIRLS CAN'T APPLY FOR NDA EXAM,BUT THEY CAN JOIN DEFENSE SERVICES AFTER GRADUATION THROUGH DIFFERENT EXAMS. best of luck !! |

NDA stand for National Defence Academy. We are happy to see your interest in the defence field but if you are a girl candidate then you are not eligible for NDA entrance examination. If you are interested in the defence field then you can appear in the Combine Defence Services (CDS) examination after completing the graduation degree. So, first complete the graduation degree in any stream. In the final year of the graduation degree you can apply for the CDS examination. All the Best for your ahead career.

After graduation, you can join by qualifying CDS exam. Graduates in engineering can have better opportunities in defense. They can join with coast guard also. |
