No, girls are not eligible for NDA. Only unmarried male candidates are eligible. You can join defense after graduation. After graduation, you can join by qualifying CDS exam. Graduates in engineering can have better opportunities in defense. They can join with coast guard also.

NO Girls are not allowed to appear in the NDA Exams.

But if you are interested in joining defence services than after Gradaution you can apply for the Officers Training academy exams.

For this you have to appear in the UPSC CDS exams

Minimum eligibilty to apply for this exams is Graduation pass in any stream
Age should be between 19 to 25 years


Also you can apply for the AFCAT exams
This exams is conducted by Indian Airforce

Eligibilty to apply for the AFCAT exams is:

FLYING BRANCH
Education- Graduates in any stream with Minimum 60% marks and should have studies the subjects Physics and Maths in class 12th or BE/BTECH Pass with minimum 60% marks

Age- between 19 to 23 years

Minimum Height- 162.5 cms
Minimum Leg Length - 99 cms
Maximum Leg Length - 120 cms

Girls candidates are not eligible to apply for NDA examination. Only unmarried male candidates are eligible to apply for the NDA entrance examination.

NDA stand for National Defence Academy. We are happy to see your interest in the defence field but if you are a girl candidate then you are not eligible for NDA entrance examination. If you are interested in the defence field then you can appear in the Combine Defence Services (CDS) examination after completing the graduation degree.

So, first complete the graduation degree in any stream. In the final year of the graduation degree you can apply for the CDS examination. All the Best for your ahead career.

NDA stands for National Defence Academy

NDA exam conduct by Union Public Service Commission two times every year which is mainly conducts for three defence wings of country.

Indian Airforce, Indian Army, Indian Navy

To appear in this exam aspirant should be 12th pass with minimum 55% marks from a recognized university. Candidate should have Physics,Chemistry and Maths as a main subject in their 12th class.

Age should be between 16.5 years to 19 years.

Only Unmarried male candidate can appear in NDA Exam.

As per the eligibility criteria for NDA, Only unmarried male candidates are allowed.

Being a girl, if you want to join Defence, then you can do so by appearing for CDSE (Combined Defence Services Exam) held by UPSC every year.

The eligibility criteria for this exam is as follows :-

> Aspirant should be a graduate in any stream

> Age should be between 19 to 25 years

So, first of all you have to be a graduate.

If you want to go in Air Force /Navy then you should have Physics and Mathematics in +2.

You can apply for other exams too like AFCAT for Air Force.

Because Girls are not eligible for NDA examination, the details about NDA exam is given below. UPSC conducting this exam every year twice.

Educational qualification:-

The candidate should have to be complete 12th standard or any equivalent from any recognised board.

Percentage is not an issue to apply NDA.

Final year exams appearing students are also eligible.

Requirements for NDA are :

>> you must be an Indian Citizen

>> You must have successfully Passed 12th from any Recognised Board

>> You must be unmarried

>> You must be MALE

And as you can see that You are a Girl so according to norms of UPSC you cant apply for NDA

Girls can not join NDA because according to UPSC girls are not eligible for it.Girls can not apply for civil services after completion of 12th because they are only eligible after completion of graduation.

Graduation is must for girls.NDA stands for National Defense Academy and it is a entrance exam which is used to enter into the field of civil services after completion of 12th with any of the stream.



As there are types of civil services that comes under NDA:

1.Indian Navy
2.Indian Air Force
3.Indian Military

You can apply for NDA after completion of 12th with more than 50% marks under some recognized university or board with any of the following stream:-

1.Arts
2.Commerce
3.Non-Medical
4.Medical

You must be eligible for NDA only then after you can apply for it.NDA is conducted by UPSC and it is held as twice in a year.

Eligibility criteria for NDA:

1.You must be an Indian.
2.Your age should lies between 16.5 to 19 years.
3.Your eye sight should be correct i.e.6/6.
