Re: Date of IES exam? How to apply for the exam? Is a B.E Mechanical Student eligible for the exam? Hi, The IES exam is conducted by the Union Public Service Commission of India, UPSC. You can apply online by logging onto: www.upsconline.nic.in The fees for the examination is Rs.50/- No fees is required for Female/SC/ST/Physically Handicapped Candidates. If you intend to pay the fees in cash, you have to take a print out of the PAY IN SLIP. You can submit the fees along with the pay in slip at any branch of the State Bank Of India across India. The Last date of submission of duly filled and complete form is 7th february 2011. The date of examination is 14th May 2011. So apply fast. I have attached something for your reference. Good Luck! |

The complete detail regarding this exam is described below: Name of Examination:Engineering Services Examination, 2011 Date of Notification:08.01.2011 Last date for rceipt of applications :07.02.2011 Date of commencement of Examination and its duration :14.05.2011 (Three days) Minimum academic qualifications prescribed: A degree in Engineering from a recognised University or eqivalent. M.Sc Degree or its equivalent with Wireless Communications, Electronics, Radio Physics or Radio Engineering as special subject acceptable for certain Services/posts only. Age limits 21 - 30 years as on 01.08.2011 Also note that Candidates appearing at Engineering degree or equivalent examination also eligible to compete subject to certain conditions. |

Date for IES 2011 exam is 14-5-2011 You can apply either offline or online Yes B.E Mechanical Student eligible for the exam As minimum educational qualification required is a degree in engineering and the age limit is 21-30 years. good luck..... |
