Re: Can a girl join Indian Army after graduating in Arts at an age of 23 years? Your Age is 23 years. You have passed +2 with Arts. I am sorry to say you can not join Indian join Army. Because there are two ways through which you can join Indian Army. NDA...National Defence Academy CDS...Combined Defence Service. Eligibility for NDA:- You should be 12th passed in any stream from recognized board. Your Age should be in between 16.5 to 19 years. Eligibility for CDS:- You should be graduate in any stream from recognized university. Your Age should be in between 19 to 24 years. All The Best

Hello friends…… Yes you can eligible to enter the indian army through the CDS exam This exam is conducted by UPSC.If you crack this examyou can join in army And Eligibility For CDS ; You must be a INDIAN Your Age limit: 19-23/24 yrs to join Indian Air Force. You should have Bachelor Degree of recognized University in any discipline You must be Unmarried Man/Women. All the best |

Girls candidate are not eligible to apply for Indian Army but are eligible to apply for Officer's Training Academy through CDS. CDS - Combined Defence Service, the exam for which is conducted by UPSC twice every year for an entry in to Indian Military Academy, Naval Academy, Air Force Academy and Officer's Training Academy. The eligible candidate aspiring for OTA of CDS, must be an unmarried Indian National having either appear for the final Graduation Degree exam or pass in any stream from arecognised University within the age of 19 to 25 years with good Physical Fitness. Hence as a Girl candidate you can apply for OTA after Graduating in Arts at the age of 23 years. For more information you may log on to http://www.upsc.gov.in |

CDS - Combined Defence Service, the entrance exam for which is conducted by UPSC twice every year to join Indian Military Academy, Naval Academy, Air Force Academy and Officer's Training Academy. Eligibility criteria for CDS exam: Any graduation from a recognised university. Final year candidates also eligible to apply for this exam. Age limits is 18 to 24 years. Candidate should be a citizen of india. All the best. |

Candidates who are studying in the final year Degree course and have yet to pass the final year degree examination can also apply but they will be required to submit proof of passing the degree examination to reach the Army HQ/Rtg. Graduates with first choice as Army / Navy / Air Force are to submit proof of graduation provisional certificates on the date of commencement of the SSB Interview at the SSB. thanks!!!!! |

For that you need to apply for CDS i.e Combined Defense Service Exam , need Girls/Guy with any Degree from recognized university.you have to be 19 half to 23 half years of age and must have passed graduation. Hi, you are eligible for the indian army for join you must give the exam of CDS [Combine Defence Service]. in this exam every guy or girl whil be eligible for that exam. but the age must be between 19 to 23. Its in Chennai.For that they have to clear CDS Examination Conducted by UPSC. Its includes only two papers i,e general english & general knowledge. For Army Navy & airforce Guys can apply.. It Includes English GK & Elementary mathematics. Every Year October-september & Feb-march ads will be post in some familiar news papers also in Employment news papaers..
