If a girl is age 23years nd she is graduated in arts . She is wanted to join indian army. can she join indian army?

You can join armed forces after graduation.
For that you need to apply for CDS i.e Combined Defense Service Exam , need Girls/Guy with any Degree from recognized university.you have to be 19 half to 23 half years of age and must have passed graduation.
Candidates who are studying in the final year Degree course and have yet to pass the final year degree examination can also apply but they will be required to submit proof of passing the degree examination to reach the Army HQ/Rtg.



For I.M.A. and Officers’ Training Academy-Degree of a recognised University or equivalent.and for Indian Naval Academy you need to have a Degree in Engineering.similarly for Air Force Academy you need a Degree of Recognized University (with Physics and Mathematics at 10+2 level) or Bachelor of Engineering.

Graduates with first choice as Army / Navy / Air Force are to submit proof of graduation provisional certificates on the date of commencement of the SSB Interview at the SSB.

[Girl or guy both can apply only for OTA i,e Officers Training Academy. Its in Chennai.For that they have to clear CDS Examination Conducted by UPSC. Its includes only two papers i,e general english & general knowledge.

For Army Navy & airforce Guys can apply.. It Includes English GK & Elementary mathematics.
Every Year October-september & Feb-march ads will be post in some familiar news papers also in Employment news papaers..

Yes, you can join the army.

Yes, you can join army at the age of 23 years.

you are eligible for the indian army for join you must give the exam of CDS [Combine Defence Service]. in this exam every guy or girl whil be eligible for that exam.
but the age must be between 19 to 23.

Yes absolutely girls can join indian army after graduation, you can crack the CDS examination.

Eligibility criteria for CDS exam:

Any graduation from a recognised university.

Final year candidates also eligible to apply for this exam.

Age limits is 18 to 24 years.

Candidate should be a citizen of india.

Yes after passing graduate girl can join Indian Army.
For this she have to qualify the O.T.A exam.

O.T.A is Officer training Academy.

O.T.A exam is conducted by U.P.C.S under C.D.S. exam.

Age limit for O.T.A is 19-25 year.

Date of notification:- 02.06.2012
Last date of submission of form:- 02.07.2012(MONDAY)
Date of exam:- 16.09.2012(SUNDAY)
