CID stands for Criminal Investigation Department Eligibility for the CBI or CID Job Posts : To be eligible for this CID Entrance Examination then the, students must have completed Graduation course with pass mark from recognized university Those candidates who have yet to qualify in the graduation or equivalent examination and are allowed to appear in the Entrance Examination. But the candidate should have any arrears then Only the candidates applicable to apply for this Entrance Examination Age limit of the candidate should be between the 21 to 30 years and Age relaxation will be applicable for sc/st candidates and obc candidates . Important:- Applicant should have an “Indian Resident ship” Physical requirement for CID Examination :- The Height of the candidate should be -163 cms for Mens candidates -152 cms for Women candidates The selection process of this Entrance Examination is based on written test / Interview and Physical and medical fitness test. CID - Criminal Investigation Department __________________________________________ CID is crime Investigation agency works under government of India. • To join CID, you have to appear in Civil Service Examination conducted by Union Public Service Commission(UPSC) of India. There are mainly two post in CID :• • Constable • Sub Inspector Educational Qualification required to join CID : • For Constable, you should have passed 12th in any stream from recognized school. • For Sub-Inspector, you should have passed Graduation course from recognized Institute. Age limit for CID :• • Your Age should be between 20 years to 27 (relaxation of upto 5 years for SC/ST and 3 years for OBC). Physical standard for CID : • Minimum Height :165 cms • Minimum chest : 76 cms Pattern of Exam :• Exam is divide in to 2 papers as mentioned below : Paper I( Duration • 2 hr) General test : In this the syllabus will be general intelligence and reasoning• 50 marks and general awareness• 75 and numerical ability• 75 Paper II(Duration • 2 hr.) Educational Qualification: A candidate Should have completed their Graduation in Any Stream with at least 55% from Recognize Universities..... Age Limit: Age Limit should Not exist 25 years for General Category. there is a relaxation is available for SC/ST category up to upper Age + 5 years. CID(Criminal Investigation Department) exam is conducted by the SSC(Staff Selection Commission). The details about this exam has been given below. Eligibility criteria:- The candidate should be complete Graduation in any discipline from a recognised university. Final year persuing candidates can also be eligible. Percentage is not important to apply the CID exam. Candidate must be a citize of India. Age details:- The age limits are 20 years to 27 years, 3 years upper age relaxation for OBC candidates, 5 years upper age relaxation for SC/ST candidates.  CID Stands for Crime Investigation Department. You can become CID Officer by passing the Combined Graduate Level Examination which is conducted every year by the Staff Selection Commission (SSC). The Qualifications Required For Combined Graduate Level Examination are : * Educational Qualification : Pass in any Graduation Degree From any recognized college/university. * Age Limit : 20-28 years. * Upper Age Relaxation : a) SC/ST Category : 5 years b) OBC Category : 3 years * Nationality : Indian * You must be physically and mentally sound.
