How can I became a CID officer in Orissa ? I am 23 years old & graduated. My height is 5'2". Can I eligible for CID officer ? Please,answer me sir.

Qualifications of CID officer:

To become an CID Officer, you have to pass Bachelor degree course in any stream from recognized university.

Your age should be in between 20 to 27 years.

Upper age relaxation is applicable. 3 years for obc and 5 years age relaxation for sc/st categories.

Both male and female candidates eligible to become an CID officer. But candidate should be citizen of india.

Physical Standards:

Height- 165 cms

Chest- Unexpanded-80cms
expanded- 85cms

You can become CID Officer by passing the Combined Graduate Level Examination which is conducted every year by the Staff Selection Commission (SSC).

The Qualifications Required For Combined Graduate Level Examination are :

* Educational Qualification : Pass in any Graduation Degree From any recognized college/university.

* Age Limit : 20-28 years.

* Upper Age Relaxation :

CID stands for Criminal Investigation Department. CID is one of the biggest crime detective agency established by the government of India. In order to join CID you have to appear in CGPE exam (Combined Graduate preliminary Exam) which is conducted by SSC board every year. There are various ranks in CID which you will get with your experience and your work talent.

Educational Qualification:-

In order to apply for CID post the minimum required educational qualification is that you must have completed your graduation in any stream from a recognized university.

Age Limits:-

# For General category candidate age should be in between 21 to 27 years
# For OBC category candidates age should be in between 21 to 30 years
# For SC/ST category candidates age should be in between 21 to 35 years.

Number of Attempts:-

# 4 attempts for General category candidates
# 7 attempts for OBC category candidates

CID is crime Investigation agency works under government of India.

• To join CID, you have to appear in Civil Service Examination conducted by Union Public Service Commission(UPSC) of India.

There are mainly two post in CID :•

• Constable

• Sub Inspector

Educational Qualification required to join CID :

• For Constable, you should have passed 12th in any stream from recognized school.

• For Sub-Inspector, you should have passed Graduation course from recognized Institute.

Eligibility for the CBI or CID Job Posts :

To be eligible for this CID Entrance Examination then the, students must have completed Graduation course with pass mark from recognized university

Those candidates who have yet to qualify in the graduation or equivalent examination and are allowed to appear in the Entrance Examination. But the candidate should have any arrears then Only the candidates applicable to apply for this Entrance Examination

Age limit of the candidate should be between the 21 to 30 years and Age relaxation will be applicable for sc/st candidates and obc candidates .

Important:- Applicant should have an “Indian Resident ship”

Physical requirement for CID Examination :-
