As per your date of birth, you are in the range of age limit required for NDA exam NDA exam requires candidate between 16.5 years to 19 years. This exam is conducted by UPSC for intermediate pass students aspiring to join Navy, Army or Air Force. The NDA exam can be given only by male candidates. Female candidates are not eligible for NDA exam. Male candidates should be unmarried. Married candidates are not allowed to apply for NDA exam. There is no age relaxation for any category for NDA exam and it is same for all. The NDA exam is conducted in three stages. These stages are -- Written test SSB interview Physical fitness. Re: Am I eligible for NDA entrance exam if I am 17 years old NDA stands for National Defence Academy. Every year UPSC (Union Public Service Commission) is going to conduct NDA Exam twice a year. Through this exam, candidates will be able to join various defence services which will be Army wing Navy wing Air Force wing. It is a great opportunity for the candidates to make entry into defence services as the minimum academic qualification required for the candidates to apply for this exam is just 12th class. So, in the very beginning of career itself, the candidates are going to get the job opportunity. The required age criteria for the candidates in order to apply for this exam will be 16 1/2 years to 19 years. As your date of birth is on 04-04-1995, you are going to complete 19 years by 04-04-2014. So, till 2014, till the month of April, you are eligible to apply for NDA Exam. Just go through the academic qualification that is required for NDA I Exam of next academic year. If your age fulfills that criteria, then you can apply for that exam. I don't know whether you have applied for NDA II Exam of this academic year or not. If you have applied for it, that is well and good. Soon after the completion of written exam, you have to crack 2 more rounds also which will be Interview Medical Test I don't know whether you are aware of this criteria or not. Just check it out. If you want to apply for Navy or Air Force wings through NDA Exam, you must have the Mathematics and Physics subjects in your 12th class. For for Army wing, any stream is okay. Moreover, you should not be a female candidate to apply for this exam. Only unmarried male candidates are eligible to apply for this exam. Have good preparation for the exam and crack it. This exam conducted by the UPSC twice in a year i.e NDA-I and NDA-II. Three wings in NDA:- Indian army, Indian airforce, Indian navy. Eligibility criteria:- Applicant should be complete 12th standard from any recognised board or university. Percentage is not an issue to apply this exam. Applicant must be physically fit. The age limits are 16.5 years to 19 years, no upper age relaxation. Only unmarried male candidates are eligible i.e girls are not eligible. 12th standard exams appearing candidates can also be eligible. Physical Requirements for NDA Army wings :- Acceptable height is 157.5 cms . Navy wings :- Acceptable height is 157 cms . Air force :- Acceptable height is 162.5 cms . Check out the chart list wise height / weight requirements :- Chest should be well developed. Fully expanded chest should not be less than 81 cms. The minimum range of expansion after full inspiration should be 5 cms. Selection process:- Written examination, SSB interview, Medical test All the best............ |

Next year the exam is going to be taken to fill up 300 posts in NDA and 55 posts in NA. There is 195 vacancy in the army wing, 39 vacancy in the naval wing and 66 vacancy in the air force wing. The vacancies are provisional and is subject to change anytime. Here are the important dates related to next year's NDA (I) Examination:-
The application fee for the NDA Examination is Rs. 200. The amount can be paid either by depositing the money in any Branch of SBI by cash, or by using net banking facility of State Bank of India. SC/ST/PH candidates/ Sons of JCOs/NCOs/ORs do not need to pay the application fee. It should be remembered that this exam is purely for the unmarried male candidates of India and therefore only they have the privilege to apply for this exam and no one else. Apart from that they also have to ensure throughout the training period their single status. The educational qualification required for this exam differs from one academy to the other. For the army wing an HS Certificate is more than enough but for the naval wing and air force wing you need to have physics and mathematics at 10+2 level. Final year students can also apply. Age Criteria:- 16.5-19 years. To apply for the NDA Exam you have to log in to the official website of UPSC as the whole application procedure will be conducted online. Yes, you are eligible for NDA exam. Eligibiltiy criteria: Nationality - citizen of India. Age - 16.5 to 19years. Sex- only unmarried male candidates can write NDA. Educational qualification- Indian Army - 12th pass Indian Air force or Navy - 12th pass with Physics and Maths subjects. All the best. |
