1.Candidate must be an Indian candidate or a subject of Nepal or Bhutan or a Tibetan refugee came before 1st January 1962.

2.Candidate should have born between 02-07-1993 to 01-01-1996 is acceptable.

3.Candidate must be an unmarried male candidate.

4.Candidate applying for air wing should pass in 10+2 examination or its equivalent examination from any state or national board.

Yes since you are 17 years old therefore you are eligible to give the NDA examination next year. Here i am listing the details of next year's exam along with the eligibility criteria which one needs to satisfy.

Next year the exam is going to be taken to fill up 300 posts in NDA and 55 posts in NA. There is 195 vacancy in the army wing, 39 vacancy in the naval wing and 66 vacancy in the air force wing. The vacancies are provisional and is subject to change anytime.

Here are the important dates related to next year's NDA (I) Examination:-

1. Date of notification: 21st December, 2013
2. Last date for submission of application:20th January, 2014, Monday
3. Date of commencement or exam: 20th April, 2014, Sunday

Please Note:- The registration process will be open on 20th January 2014 till 11:59 p.m and after that the link will be disabled.

The application fee for the NDA Examination is Rs. 200. The amount can be paid either by depositing the money in any Branch of SBI by cash, or by using net banking facility of State Bank of India. SC/ST/PH candidates/ Sons of JCOs/NCOs/ORs do not need to pay the application fee.

It should be remembered that this exam is purely for the unmarried male candidates of India and therefore only they have the privilege to apply for this exam and no one else. Apart from that they also have to ensure throughout the training period their single status.

The educational qualification required for this exam differs from one academy to the other. For the army wing an HS Certificate is more than enough but for the naval wing and air force wing you need to have physics and mathematics at 10+2 level. Final year students can also apply.

Age Criteria:- 16.5-19 years.

Through this exam, candidates will be able to join various defence services which will be

Navy wing
Air Force wing.

It is a great opportunity for the candidates to make entry into defence services as the minimum academic qualification required for the candidates to apply for this exam is just 12th class.

So, in the very beginning of career itself, the candidates are going to get the job opportunity.

The required age criteria for the candidates in order to apply for this exam will be 16 1/2 years to 19 years.

As your date of birth is on 04-04-1995, you are going to complete 19 years by 04-04-2014.

As per your date of birth, you are in the range of age limit required for NDA exam

NDA exam requires candidate between 16.5 years to 19 years.

This exam is conducted by UPSC for intermediate pass students aspiring to join Navy, Army or Air Force.

The NDA exam can be given only by male candidates. Female candidates are not eligible for NDA exam.

Male candidates should be unmarried. Married candidates are not allowed to apply for NDA exam.

There is no age relaxation for any category for NDA exam and it is same for all.

The NDA exam is conducted in three stages.
