Re: What is the age limit for NDA entrance exam? Eligibility Criteria The candidate should: ** Have a XII Class / Equivalent passed certificate conducted by State Board / Universities. Those appearing for the exam can also apply provided they furnish the proof of passing the Class XII exam at a later date as specified by the UPSC. ** Have Physics & Maths in 10+2 if he has applied for Navy & Air Force. ** Be an unmarried male. ** Be between 16 1/2 to 19 years of age. ** Be physically fit. Exam Pattern The written test has 2 papers both of which will last for 150 minutes each: Mathematics: Topics to be covered include Arithmetic, Mensuration, Algebra, Geometry, Trigonometry, Statistics General Ability: This paper includes English & GK. Questions from Physics, Chemistry, General Science, History & Freedom Movement, Geography and Current affairs will be asked in the GK section. Important Dates Opening Date for Online Registration: 04-05-2013. Last Date for Online Registration: 03-06-2013. NDA & NA (II) 2013 Examination Date: 11-08-2013 How to Apply All eligible candidates may apply online through Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) website http://upsconline.nic.in on or before the last date. |

The eligibility Criterion for NDA exam is given below- 1.You should have Indian citizenship. 2.Your age should be in the age group of 16-1/2 to 19 years. 3.You should be 12th passed or 12th appearing student with Maths and Physics as a subject. It will provide you with an edge over others in the SSB interview if you have a NCC A-grade certificate. You can get the application form from any post office or GPO in your city costing just 30Rs. NDA-I NDA-II NDA has three wings: Indian Army Indian Air force Indian Navy Eligibility Criteria: Age Limit: The candidate required the minimum age limit should be above 16.5 years. The candidate required this exam the max age limit is below 19 years. There no upper age relaxation for other categories for this exam. Selection Process: Written Test Medical Test Interview All the best. |

This Examination is regarded as the best examinations for those students who have passed 12th from any recognized board and are interested in joining Indian Defense. The Wings Of Indian Defense which you can join by cracking the NDA Exam are : * Indian Army * Indian Navy * Indian Air Force Coming back to your query , Here i have mentioned the Age Limit for NDA Entrance Exam are : * Your age should lie in between 16.5-19 years. * No Relaxation in upper age is given to candidates even if they belong to any of the Reserved Categories. Well N.D.A --- NATIONAL DEFENSE ACADEMY The minimum age must be 16.5 years Maximum age is allowed up to 19 years THERE IS NO AGE RELAXATION FOR THE RESERVED CANDIDATES You must be an INDIAN CITIZEN You must have a minimum of +2 from recognized university You must be Physically fit Mentally good VERY GOOD LUCK |

Also this is the best option for all those who wish to join a good organization right after completing their Class 12th. NDA - National Defense Academy. This is conducted for the recruitment of candidates for the 3 wings of Defense like ARMY, NAVY AND AIR FORCE. Before you can get through, you would have to apply for this particular exam and even before applying you would have to make sure that you fit in for this, as there are a lot of ELIGIBILITY Criteria's which needs to be met. Thus they are listed as follows :- 1. Your origin should be Indian and you have to be an Unmarried Male Candidate. 2. Age wise its really strict and you should be falling in the range of 16.5 to 19 years. So as per your age and year of birth, in the year 2012 you have completed your 16.5 years. So you can surely apply in 2013 as well being 17 years. 3. According to the Educational Qualifications, you must be a minimum Higher Secondary or 12th pass/appeared from a recognized school or board of education in the country. Result awaited students can apply. 4. Another factor for this exam is that you should be Physically and Mentally fit. There should not be any problems with it. 5. So if you are below 19 years of age and above 16.5 years then definitely you will be eligible to apply for the NDA Examination. Also you must be a unmarried male when you are applying for NDA Examination. Along with the age you must be 10+2 pass from a recognised Board of education. For Indian Air Force and Indian Navy you must have Physics and Maths in 10+2. For Indian Army any stream students can apply. The age limit for NDA is specified as from 16.5 years to 19 years with no upper age relaxation for any reserved category candidate. Apart from this the eligible candidate must be an unmarried Indian Male having either appear for the final 12th exam or pass in any stream from a recognised Board with good Physical and Mental Health.
