i want to Know that weather i can appear in august 2013 exam ?

NDA - National Defence Academy, the entrance exam for which is conducted by UPSC two times every year for an entry in to Indian Army, Navy and Air Force wing of NDA.

The age limit for NDA is specified as from 16.5 years to 19 years with no upper age relaxation for any reserved category candidate.

Apart from this the eligible candidate must be an unmarried Indian Male having either appear for the final 12th exam or pass in any stream from a recognised Board with good Physical and Mental Health.

National defence academy is conducted by union public service commission twice in a year to recruits the candidates in Army, Navy & Air Force wings of National Defence Academy.

Educational Qualifications:-

For Army wing : Only 12th standard from any stream from recognized board..

For Air Force and Naval Wings : A candidate must have passed 10+2 with physics and mathematics subjects.

NDA exam not require any percentage marks in 12th board .

Final year of 12th standard candidate can apply here .

Only unmarried male candidate of Indian citizen can apply here .

Your age should be in between 16.5 to 19 years old .

Your Date of Birth is 20 may 1995 .Your age now 18+ but below 19 years .So you are applicable for NDA II Exam 2013 but i think you are not applicable in NDA I exam 2014 .

Selection process for NDA recruitment -Written Test , Physical Test , Medical Test and Personal Interview .SSB conduct this process in SSB center .

Pattern for NDA exam is given below-

Paper I - Mathematics : (Maximum Marks 300)
Arithmetic, Mensuration, Algebra, Geometry, Trigonometry, Statistics.

Paper II - General Ability
Part A - English (Maximum Marks 200)
Part B - General Knowledge (Maximum Marks 400)

NDA I Exam date is over for 2013 so you can try for NDA II exam.Last date for receipt application for NDA II Exam is 03.06.2013 and the written exam is conduct of 11.08.2013

For NDA Examination age must be between 16.5 to 19 years then only you will be eligible to apply.

So if you are below 19 years of age and above 16.5 years then definitely you will be eligible to apply for the NDA Examination.

Also you must be a unmarried male when you are applying for NDA Examination.

Along with the age you must be 10+2 pass from a recognised Board of education.

For Indian Air Force and Indian Navy you must have Physics and Maths in 10+2.

Its indeed very nice that you wish to apply for this esteemed Examination which is one of the best in it's kind. Also this is the best option for all those who wish to join a good organization right after completing their Class 12th.
NDA - National Defense Academy. This is conducted for the recruitment of candidates for the 3 wings of Defense like ARMY, NAVY AND AIR FORCE.

Before you can get through, you would have to apply for this particular exam and even before applying you would have to make sure that you fit in for this, as there are a lot of ELIGIBILITY Criteria's which needs to be met. Thus they are listed as follows :-

1. Your origin should be Indian and you have to be an Unmarried Male Candidate.

2. Age wise its really strict and you should be falling in the range of 16.5 to 19 years. So as per your age and year of birth, in the year 2012 you have completed your 16.5 years. So you can surely apply in 2013 as well being 17 years.

3. According to the Educational Qualifications, you must be a minimum Higher Secondary or 12th pass/appeared from a recognized school or board of education in the country. Result awaited students can apply.

4. Another factor for this exam is that you should be Physically and Mentally fit. There should not be any problems with it.

5. All those who have studied Physics and Mathematics as a compulsory subject in their 12th can apply for any of the 3 wings of Defense, however the Commerce and Arts students can apply ONLY FOR ARMY.

So if you can see that you are fulfilling these, then you can surely apply for the NDA & NA (II).. I am also going to provide you with the Important Dates which are :

Registration Open - 6th May 2013
Registration Closes - 5th June 2013
Exam Date - 11th August 2013.

Educational qualification required for NDA & NA exam:

1.Candidates wishing to apply for Army wing should have passed 10+2 examination or equivalent examination conducted by various state or central boards of India.
2.Candidates who want to join Indian Air Force or Naval Academy should have passed 10+2 with Physics and Mathematics at 10+2 level.

Also students studying in second year of 10+2 or equivalent exam are eligible for applying NDA & NA exam.

Age limit and marital status requirements for appearing NDA & NA exam II 2013

Candidates applying for NDA exam II 2013 should be born between 2nd July 1995 and 01st July 1998 with both dates inclusive.
Both boys and girls can apply for the exam.
Candidates who want to become officers through NDA & NA examination should not be married
