Re: Duration of B.Tech in IIT for Diploma Holders? HI Unlike other colleges, IIT doesn't take candidates via lateral system. You have to appear for JEE and then get admitted to the four year course. Even the diploma holder will be joining in first year itself. I request to my colleagues, not to misguide if you dont know. all the best |

there is no lateral entry admission in IIT & NIT directly into second year. you will have to give aieee or iit jee exam to get admission over there. this is a disadvantage for diploma holders but you can try for other government colleges. good luck |
