Career in Merchant Navy can be pursued either as an officer or a rating in mainly two specialized fields, i.e. Marine Engineering and Nautical (deck). To get admission in the institutions offering these courses is that you will have to clear the entrance exam. The Joint Entrance Examination is conducted by IIT. |
