Re: Maths questions and books for gate? Yes you are eligible to write the GATE exam while pursuing the 3rd year B.Tech with Electrical Trade. Only thing you have to do is join the Coaching center like like ACE to crack the GATE. The GATe exam is commencing on 14th Feb 2012. It is better you write the Exam when you are in 4th year, as you get sufficient knowledge about the subject. ALL THE BEST!!!!!!! |

If you want to thorough your preparation then you should go for Discrete Mathematics by Tremblay Manohar, Probability , statistics and queuing theory " by S.C.Gupta & V.K.Kapoor these book are really helpful......you can find all the problem solved in a simple as well as the english use is very easy to understand...... you can download some papers for it from the following links :- www.gateprep.com/ |

For this if u know the basics u can easily answer the questions...... still if u want to prepare u can go through r.s. agarwal for aptitude and shakuntala devi books for puzzles................ |

GATE FORUM material is too good ... questions have different level ...so try hard level questions... important topics are Linear Algebra,permutation and combination, graph theory,probability... good luck |
