He Served for three months in 1937, during the state's first democratic election. He was born in Penhara, a village of Patna, and went to the United Kingdom in the 1920s for higher education. Also , the Home Minister Of our Nation[India] is Sushil Kumar Shinde. This is the information i have to the best of my knowledge regarding your query. Dear friend To be very frank ,I would like to say that I have never heard home minister for a state .I have heard home minister of country like for India ,the present home minister is Sushil Kumar Sindhe. Here I have attached the list of present cabinet ministers of India, you can seeby click it here Nitesh Kumar is the present chief minister of Bihar .The list of chief minister of Bihar since from independence is here Lots of member have replied you that Mohammad Yunus was the first home minister but I would like to say that he was the first prime minister of Bihar province of British India.He served for the three months in 1937. Mohammad Yunus is the First Home Minister of Bihar Muhammad Yunus is a Bangladeshi banker, economist and Nobel Peace Prize recipient. As a professor of economics, he developed the concepts of microcredit and microfinance. These loans are given to entrepreneurs too poor to qualify for traditional bank loans. In 2006 Yunus and Grameen Bank received the Nobel Peace Prize "for their efforts through microcredit to create economic and social development from below". Yunus has received several other national and international honours. He was awarded the U.S. Congressional Gold Medal in 2010, and presented with it at a ceremony at the U.S. Capitol on 17 April 2013. |

Right now,Shri Nitish kumar is the present Chief Minister of Bihar since 2005, he is also the Home minister of Bihar. Present home minster of bihar He has gone through these terms when during the struggle for Chief Minister of Bihar with Lalu Prasad: 1st Term (3 March 2000 – 10 March 2000) 2nd Term (24 November 2005 – 24 November 2010) 3rd Term (26 November 2010 to present) He is a teetotaler, does not smoke, and is a frugal eater and his nick name is "munna".
