HELLO,you have not eligibility problem,just do the appropriate course which can groom your carrier.today it's the world of talent if you have the talent then forgot what grades you have got just try to show it to the world.you can do the diploa courses like PGDCA with good marks or MBA(specialized) will make your carrier as you want.just take the CAT exam & get your post graduate degree with renowned institutes of business management in india.your percentage of higher secondary & high school shows you have talent & show it so you will be eligible for everything you want. Hi dear, Its Pity to inform you that you are ineligible to work with anyone of the Fortune 500 companies which include all good IT companies like CTS, Accenture, HSBC, TCS etc. I have been a coordinator for around 55 Job fairs/recruitment/ testing part. Everywhere, We were instructed to accept the profiles with a percentage of 60 & above in the highest qualification of the candidate I Have two suggestions for you to get with a good IT industry Join any software institute like ZOOM/NIIT/etc., and learn any course of your choice and get recruited through them Complete your PG (M TECH) Course with not less than 60% aggregate. This is the best choice available to you. It will help your career for sure! Follow any one... WARNING: Don't ruin your career by wandering around small IT companies which will make you end with a CTC(Salary) of 3.5L PA even after 4 years. You can reply to this thread for further queries. B.Tech (Bachelor's in Technology) in Computer Science engineering branch provides very good opportunities in technological and software firms. Both, Software testing as well as ITES (Information Technology Enabled Services) in Networking, have good prospects ahead. Software testing is the last step of software development (i.e., after analysis, design and coding). Software testing involves operations such as program debugging, error reporting, error resolutions, improved adaptations etc. It is completely programming-required field. While ITES with networking is hardware as well as software related field which involves development of sustainable services softwares of Information technology. It is a core programming field. If you have good programming skills, then you should go for the ITES with networking sector and this field will provide you with a greater career opportunities. You should decide which field to choose as per your interests. Also look for the backgrounds of both the companies which are offering you job offers. Go for the company which has a better place and good past record in the IT market. all the best!! |

If you have done B. tech in computer science then its better for you to choose CS during your M Tech. If you want to change your subject then you can choose other field like Electronics/Electrical/Aeronautic engineering/IT etc. |

If you really want to get into big IT companies then first get a job in small IT company then gather experience , after that you can apply for Big IT sectors jobs. Because experience matters a lot than aggregate percentage. So, go for it... All the best. |

I got to know that it is difficult to get a job with this less percent. so i have appeared for GATE exam i got 6300 rank but i have not joined in MTech. please suggest what do i do now. already im 2010 passout. I also have good knowledge in some core subjects and software disciplines like c,c ,sap etc. |

To all people worried about low marks and not getting a job:- Even people with high marks and ending up in MNCs like Wipro or Infy leave it in one or two years because of the pressure. I am a year-back student myself and I've seen many of my contemporaries get placed in Infy, leave it and join up with some companies I've never heard of before. They say things like "higher package" "interesting projects" "higher roles" and quote them as reasons for leaving such big companies. So whether or not you're a 60% student, you are most likely to hop from company-to-company to rise professionally. At one point, you will find out that sitting behind a desk and programming all your life isn't worth it, no matter how much you are paid. This is why many of these "engineers" end up in Business line, either by doing an MBA, rising naturally within the company towards business line or starting their own firms. Many others use their knowledge and expertise to freelance too. All of these options earn you far more than what you hear about at the entry level. So ultimately, you will end up in a job and a lifestyle that is appropriate to your aptitudes. But don't worry...even if you're not known to be industrious right now, life will teach you it's own lessons and sharpen you up enough to be successful in life. Think about it...you've made it this far by finishing Engineering! What is to stop you from earning a decent living? The latter is far easier and don't you forget it! |

Please guide me how to approach my career as i am not getting job in good companies.
