Hello friend, You can join into the army after your intermediate through a exam called NDA.NDA stands for national defense academy,is the exam conducted twice in a year by Union public service commission.If you qualified in the exam you have to face training for 1 year.After the training you will posted into the army.To write NDA we need some eligibility criterion. Eligibility for NDA::------ -------------------------------- ------->Candidate should be indian citizen ------->Candidate should be unmarried male ------->Candidate age should be between 16-19 |

YES, you can join Indian army You have to apply for the CDS exams Eligibity for the CDS exams: Education: Indian Military Academy (IMA) - Graduation Pass in any Stream Officers Training Academy (OTA) - Graduation Pass in any Stream Indian Airforce- Graduation Pass with Physics and Mathematics as subjects in class 12th or BE/BTECH Indian Navy - BE/BTECH AGE LIMITS- IMA- Between 19- 24 years OTA Between 19- 25 years NAVY - Between 19- 22 years AIR FORCE - Between 19- 23 years |

Re: How to join Army after passing engineering? Indian Army can be joined through CDS entrance exam after Engineering Degree. CDS stands for Combined Defence Service, the entrance exam for which is conducted twice every year by UPSC to join Indian Military Academy, Naval Academy, Air Force Academy and Officer's Training Academy. The eligible candidate aspiring for Indian Army(IMA) of CDS, must be an Indian unmarried Male having either appear for the final Graduation Degree exam or pass in any stream of education from a recognised University within the age of 19 to 24 years with good Physical and Mental Fitness. Hello Modes of entry in Indian Army. 1)Combined Defence Service Examination IMA-Indian Military Academy-graduation from any stream OTA-Officer Training Academy-same as IMA 2)TGC-Technical Graduate Course Engineering entry. 3)SSC(Technical)-Short Service Commission(Technical) Engineering entry only. Age CDSE(IMA)-19 to 24 years,when the course is due to commence Age-CDSE(OTA)-19 to 25 years. CDSE have selection process 1)Written Exam English,General Knowledge,Maths for IMA English,Maths for OTA. 2)SSB(Service Selection Board) interview 3)Physical test TGC has no written exam,direct interview so as for SSC(Technical) CDSE conducted twice in a year,September,February. Re: How to join Army after passing engineering? hi, You can join Indian after Engineering ;- CDS exam, UES Scheme and NCC special entry CDS stands for Combined Defence Services Examination and this examination is conducted by UPSC, Twice in a year Through CDS exam, you can take admission in:- Indian Military Academy Navel Academy Air force Academy Officer Training Academy Education : Indian Military Academy and Officers Training Academy : you must have completed your Degree in any stream with minimum percentage of marks from any recognized college or board. Indian Air Force : you must have Bachelor Degree in Engineering or B.Sc with Physics or Mathematics as your main subjects with minimum marks from any recognized university. Indian Naval Academy : you must have completed your Bachelor Degree in Engineering or Degree in Physics or Mathematics as your main subjects with minimum marks from any recognized university AGE LIMIT;- Indian Military Academy: 19-24yrs. Re: How to join Army after passing engineering? Since you are in the final year of engineering course you can apply for the Technical Graduate Course. You should be over 20 years to apply for this course. Also those who are over 27 years old cannot apply for this course. Applications are normally called during April/May and October/November. There will be a medical examination and personal interview round as part of the selection procedure. |

CDS exam (Combined Defence Service) TES exam (Technical Entry Scheme) The eligibility criteria for CDS exam: -->>The candidate should have completed graduation from a recognized university. -->>The candidate age must be between 19 to 24 years. -->>The candidate must be citizen of India -->>The candidate should be an unmarried candidate. If you have satisfy this criteria then you can apply for this exam The eligibility criteria for TES exam: -->>The candidate should have completed graduation from a recognized university. -->>The candidate should have secured a minimum of 60% marks in graduation. -->>The candidate age must be between 20 t0 25 years only -->>The candidate must be citizen of India. If you have satisfy this eligibility criteria then you can apply for this exam. Actually you can apply for technical posts in Army for the technical officer post your age must be between 19 to 31 years only. All the best.............. |
