i m engineer student appearing final year , want to join army. please suggest me about entrance exam of army

Candidate who have completed B.Tech can apply for a post in Army.
you can write the following exams.

CDS exam (Combined Defence Service)
TES exam (Technical Entry Scheme)

The eligibility criteria for CDS exam:

-->>The candidate should have completed graduation from a recognized university.
-->>The candidate age must be between 19 to 24 years.
-->>The candidate must be citizen of India
-->>The candidate should be an unmarried candidate.

If you have satisfy this criteria then you can apply for this exam

The eligibility criteria for TES exam:

-->>The candidate should have completed graduation from a recognized university.
-->>The candidate should have secured a minimum of 60% marks in graduation.
-->>The candidate age must be between 20 t0 25 years only
-->>The candidate must be citizen of India.

If you have satisfy this eligibility criteria then you can apply for this exam.

Actually you can apply for technical posts in Army for the technical officer post your age must be between 19 to 31 years only.

Since you are in the final year of engineering course you can apply for the Technical Graduate Course. You should be over 20 years to apply for this course. Also those who are over 27 years old cannot apply for this course. Applications are normally called during April/May and October/November. There will be a medical examination and personal interview round as part of the selection procedure.

How can I join Indian Army Being A candidate of Engineering?

----one as an Engineering student can join Army in many ways.one way is to give Entrance exam of CDS which is conducted by the UPSC twice every year.

----The other way is TGC which is for Engineering students to apply.

Eligibility Criteria(TGC)----

• Age between---20 and 27 yrs as on first day of month in which course is to commence
• BE / B Tech final appearing & degree holders in notified streams of Engineers
• Marital Status--Un Married / MarriedLikely SSB Date Oct-Nov & Apr-May
• Date Commencement of Training--Jan and Jul
• Duration of Training----One Year

Through CDS exam, you can take admission in:-

1)Written Exam

TGC has no written exam,direct interview so as for SSC(Technical)
