Re: How to become an Income Tax Officer after BCA? YES, After BCA you are eligible for INCOME TAX OFFICER through SSC exam. Income Tax Officer Exam is conducted by Staff Selection Commission (SSC) to recruit the Income Tax Officer. Those candidate have completed graduation degree from recognized university are eligible for INCOME TAX OFFICER exam. To become Income Tax officer you have to pass the Civil Services Exam conducted by the Union Public. Also your age should be in between 18 years to 25 years. The upper age limit will be relaxed by 3 years for OBC candidates and 5 years for SC/ST candidates. The examination is conduct two ways (i) Written examination (ii) Interview for Personality Test for such candidates as may qualify in the written test. S. Hai, Yeah shore you are eligible for Income tax officer which is this exam is conducted by the SSC(Staff Selection Commission) once in a year i.e in the month of july. Educational qualification:- The candidate should be complete graduation or equivalent degree from a recognised university of india. Percentage is no need to appear this exam, so you can appear at any percentage of marks. Nationality:- Citizen of INDIA. Age criteria:- The applicants age should be not lessthan 18 years and not morethan 27 years, 3 years upper age relaxation for the OBC candidates, 5 years upper age relaxation for the SC/ST candidates. Selection process:- Written exam, Personal interview. Syllabus for written exam:- General awareness, General english, General intelligence, Arithematic ability. Greeting for the day; Clerical cadre is recruited through Staff Selection Commission(SSC) exams, Senior positions are recruited through Union Public Service Commission(UPSC)exams / Higher Grade officials are recruited directly through Civil services exams. you will have to Regular touch with the Employment News . So, If You Are Interested To Appear In This Exams, You Must Have Attain The Age Of 18 Year And Must Not Have Attain The Age Of 27 Year. This year there is no such exam specially for tax assistant but you can give exam of civils & CGL of SSC |

Hello, After BCA you become graduate so the basic requirement for appearing into the Income Tax officer is graduate in any discipline from any institution. You can collect the application form from the main branch of Income Tax office, New Delhi. For this you have to prepare english, maths and GK.
