It includes a graduation degree and the LLB course which is why duration is 5 years. This course is also offered by various colleges under the Kolkata University. However the age limit for this course is 20 years. On the other hand you are 21 years old. Unless you belong to SC/ST, it would not be possible to apply for the integrated LLB course. However you don't need to be disappointed because there is still another option for you. The only possibility is to first complete graduation and then apply for the LLB course of 3 years duration. On merit the 3 years LLB and 5 years BA LLB have same value. Therefore you are happily apply for the LLB course. But like I said you will have to first complete the graduation course. You can not apply for the LLB course without having completed graduation. The LLB course is not offered by all the universities. Most universities have shifted to the integrated LLB course of 5 years duration. Therefore if you reallly want to do it from Kolkata then you must check whether any college is offering 3 years course or not. But before you will have to complete graduation. LLB Eligibility 1. Any valid bachelor degree like BA, B.Com, BCA etc. 2. 45 percent marks in graduation is necessary. 3. 40 percent marks for SC and ST. 4. Maximum age to apply is 30 years. 5. There is 5 years of relaxation given to SC/ST as per the rules of Indian government. |

You can pursue the sam efrom a recognized institute.You haven’t specified where yo uare staying.Some of theinstitutes that offer the courseare NLSIU, Bangalore, Amity LawSchool, Delhi, NLIU, Bhopal and soon. You can also pursue theBachelors’ program in Law inSymbiosisLaw College, Pune,Faculty of Law, DU, Delhi or inGovernment Law College, Mumbai. The eligibility criterionto do the program is a pass inthe Bachelors’ degree in any streams. The percentagerequirement may vary withUniversities. For getting Lawadmissions in Law institutes, youhave to attend Law entrance tests. Better visit the officialwebsite of the college in which you wish to join the course.
