You have many option to join Army after Engineering Degree, You can attend CDS examination or Apply for Direct entries ( SSB Interview ). as you are in class 11th science, you can try nda after class 12th , through nda you can join army on LIEUTENANT post , and then you will get the promotion as per army rules , eligibility for nda : must be a citizen of India or citizen of Bhutan or Nepal must be studies physics,chemistry and maths for air force and navy any stream student allowed for Indian army age limit should be 16.5 to 19 years must be unmarried male must be physically and mentally fit so you can join army by cracking nda on the post of lieutenant , good luck |

After passing this exam,you will be commissioned officer in the rank of lieutenant,captain and major. Procedure to Join Indian Army - ( 5 Stages ) 1. Written test, 2. Physical tests, 3. Medical tests, 4. Group tests and 5. Personal Interview. Educational Eligibility For Indian Army - A candidate pass 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry & Maths with minimum 50 % aggregate marks from a regonised board. Age Eligibility For Indian Army - 16 Years to 21 Years. Physical Eligibility For Indian Army - A candidate should be physically and mentally fit. 1. Eye Sight = 6/6, 2. Height = 167 cms, 3. Weight: 50 Kg 4. Chest: 77 cm (Normal) / 82 cm (Expanding) All the best for your exam!!! |

After 12th class, there is a NDA[NATIONAL DEFENCE ACADEMY] examination, conducted by there UPSC [UNION PUBLIC SERVICE COMMISSION],... For appear in this examination, you must possess at least a 12th degree from the recognized board. Through this NDA examination, a candidate can apply for all the branches of the Indian army,,,,.For apply in Indian air force & Naval force, you must have Physics & Maths as his passing subjects in 12th, also you must have scored at least 60% in 12th. The age limit for this examination is 16.5-19 years for all candidates. |

Eligibility for Indian Army :- 1) 10+2 (Through NDA) You have to take an entry level exam conducted by Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) to join NDA (National Defence Academy). Eligibility for UPSC exam :- a) Sex :- Male. b) Age Limit :- Between 16 1/2 and 19. Application Forms are published in leading newspapers during March /April. The UPSC (NDA) exam is conducted twice a year (April and October)in all major cities throughout India. Each year course start twice January and July. UPSC (NDA) Syllabus is based on CBSE syllabus. After clearing the written exam you have to go through a five-day interview process with the State Selection Board (SSB) which is the final step . On completion of the NDA course, you are sent to the respective service academies for your pre- commission training. 2) Engineering Graduates (Direct Entry) Engineering graduate can join the Indian Military Academy directly. So, you only need to attend the Service Selection Board (SSB) interview. Eligibility :- Age Limit :- Between 20-27 years at the time of joining. The course starts every year in the month of January and July. Advertisement of the application form published in March/April & Oct./Nov in employment newspaper. You need to have a die heart spirit for your country not to die' You cannot become Captain/ Major Directly. Best Option is that after your +2 you should give the exam of CDS which is conducted by UPSC every Year so that you will join army as Officer & later you can Become Captain & Major Easily |
