hai my ame is Asif,I am living in Kerala,currently i am doing my +1(science) ,
i want to ask that How can i join The Indian Army as a captain OR as a Major after my +2
I am really interested in the army
and i want to just get in there
i can die for my country

Basically you need to first complete your graduation. Then you need to undergo training. You cannot directly become a captain or major. You will need to join at the junior level. With experience you can be promoted to these levels.

Dear,
there are no any scope for any person to join directly at major/captain. First of all you have to pass the exam of NDA on that basis you will qualify for Second lieutenant and from there a hierarchy will be come out in which you get the above mentioned designation only.

Dear friend after +2 you must give NDA exam because after class 12th this is the only way to become officer.

Or elso you must first complete your graduation degree the you can apply for CDSE or SSC.

And if you have NCC 'C' grade certificate then there is a special entry for that.

You cant directly join army as major or captain.So as you are doing 11th now,after your 12th you can write NDA exam taken by the upsc,india.

After passing this exam,you will be commissioned officer in the rank of lieutenant,captain and major.

after 12th you have to appear in NDA exam if you clear then you will be called for medical exam if you will clear it then you will have to undergo a training of 1 year in any one of the academy after that you will be a officer in army you will get promotion time to time and then you can be a captain in indian army

In India, army is the most important part of defence.

To join Indian Army you have to fight Civil Defence Services exams i.e. CDS and NDA exams.

Both CDS and NDA exams are conducted by UPSC (Union Public Service Commission).

Procedure to Join Indian Army - ( 5 Stages )

1. Written test,
2. Physical tests,
3. Medical tests,
4. Group tests and
5. Personal Interview.

Educational Eligibility For Indian Army - A candidate pass 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry & Maths with minimum 50 % aggregate marks from a regonised board.

Age Eligibility For Indian Army - 16 Years to 21 Years.

Physical Eligibility For Indian Army - A candidate should be physically and mentally fit.

1. Eye Sight = 6/6,
2. Height = 167 cms,
3. Weight: 50 Kg
4. Chest: 77 cm (Normal) / 82 cm (Expanding)

If you want join defence after completing 12th. For thix you have to qualify the National Defence Academy(N.D.A) Exam.

N.D.A exam is conducted by U.P.S.C twice in a year.

After qualifying this exam you can start you career in defence sector like:-
>> Indian Army
>> Indian Air force
>> Indian Navy

Eligibility criteria:-
> Pass 12th with any subject from recognized university
> Age limit:-16.5-19 year
> Medically fit

There are 3 steps of selection:-
-Written exam.
-Interview
-medical exam.

ans: for joining of indian army there are many options first option do nda.second u can complete ur graduation.3rd do engineering in mechanical and join army as engg. Officer but u must clear cds exam which held in 2 times per yr and last one options is join army ncc and get c certificate after that u r now direct appy for short service commision.

Eligibility for Indian Army :-

1) 10+2 (Through NDA)

You have to take an entry level exam conducted by Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) to join NDA (National Defence Academy).
Eligibility for UPSC exam :-
a) Sex :- Male.
b) Age Limit :- Between 16 1/2 and 19.

Application Forms are published in leading
newspapers during March /April.

The UPSC (NDA) exam is conducted twice a year (April and October)in all major cities throughout India.

Each year course start twice January and July.

UPSC (NDA) Syllabus is based on CBSE syllabus.

After clearing the written exam you have to go through a five-day interview process with the State Selection Board (SSB) which is the final step .

On completion of the NDA course, you are sent to the respective service academies for your pre- commission training.


2) Engineering Graduates (Direct Entry)

Engineering graduate can join the Indian Military Academy directly.

So, you only need to attend the Service Selection Board (SSB) interview.

Eligibility :-
Age Limit :- Between 20-27 years at the time of joining.

The course starts every year in the month of January and July.
Advertisement of the application form published in March/April & Oct./Nov in employment newspaper.

After 12th class, there is a NDA[NATIONAL DEFENCE ACADEMY] examination, conducted by there UPSC [UNION PUBLIC SERVICE COMMISSION],...
For appear in this examination, you must possess at least a 12th degree from the recognized board.
Through this NDA examination, a candidate can apply for all the branches of the Indian army,,,,.For apply in Indian air force & Naval force, you must have Physics & Maths as his passing subjects in 12th, also you must have scored at least 60% in 12th.

The age limit for this examination is 16.5-19 years for all candidates.
