Hello, NIFT-National Institute of Fashion Technology is a prestigous Institute spread all over India with almost 15 centres,with its head office in New Delhi.It offers various UG and PG programmes on Fashion Technology. UG Programmes:- Under B.Design->Eligibility->12th passed from a recognized board. Fashion Design, Leather Design, Accessory Design, Textile Design, Knitwear Design, Fashion Communication. Under B.F.Tech->Eligibility->12th with Physics,Chemistry&Mathematics. Apparel Production. PG Programmes-: Master of Design->Eligibility->Bachelor's Degree OR Diploma from NIFT/NID in UG design. Master of Fashion Management->Eligibility->Bachelor's Degree OR Diploma(3 years) from NIFT/NID in UG design. Master of Fashion Technology->Eligibility->Degree in Engineering OR B.FTech from NIFT. NIFT conducts entrance examination for the admission to the courses in NIFT.It is conducted around 1st OR 2nd week of April every year for which the notificaton is generally published in the month of Febrauary. After clearing the NIFT entrance examination,one can get admission in the NIFT. Good Luck. |

If you want to do B.Des in Fashion Design, Leather Design, Accessory Design, Textile Design, Knitwear Design and Fashion Communication then you need to to pass higher secondary examination or its equivalent from a recognized institution. The subject combination at 10+2 level does not matters. For a bachelor's degree in fashion technology you have to do a bachelor's degree in fashion technology then you need to have physics, chemistry and mathematics at 10+2 level. This B.FTech degree can be attained on Apparel Production. NIFT Entrance Test:- There are two tests in the first stage: ## General Ability Test (GAT) for all courses ## Creative Ability Test (CAT) for design course (OR) ## Managerial Ability Test (MAT) for apparel production, management and technology courses. Stress on the following sections for GAT Exam:-
