Indian air force is having 3 branches 1.technical officers 2.ground duty officers 3.flying officers technical officers:- how to get into this. 1.if you are engineering you have to write EKT (engineering knowledge test ) at respective air force stations. ground duty officers:- how to get into this:- 1.if you have opted for ground duty you forms will be short listed in head quarters. then you will be intimate by post for selection flying officers:- how to get into this:- 1.through CDSE(central defense service exam) exam these were the prelims but now the mains gonna start:- 1. selection procedure through SSB(service selection board) 2.there will be medical test thereafter 3.all INDIA merit list will be displayed in employment news. 4.training in respective branch 5.now you will be officer You can join IAF with btec degree for various technical jobs but 60% marks are necessary for applying. You can apply through UNIVERSITY ENTRY SCHEME & COMBINED DEFENCE SERVICE examination and can become aeronautical engineer mechanical or electronics and flying officer.
